I watched webb as he pulled the helmet off post race, holy shit, dude was taking a few deep breaths but after that 4 lap sprint for him to be standing proud like that was absolutely amazing. I have never been a fan, probably never will be, but the dude has my respect for his conditioning level. Bad to the bone. Cant wait for the outdoors.

I don't really like Webb (wanna smack him in the head every time i see his ears tucked in his hat) but there is zero discussion of if he is a bad dude. His late race drives have little to do with fitness (he looked tired like everyone else) and everything to do with heart and desire. Like someone said, dude hates losing more than he likes winning (ala RC/RV/Hannah/etc).

Say what you want but there seems to be no one else that has that drive to win like Coop does. And that is generally something you cannot coach, athletes tend to just "have" it. He didn't have to win last night but as he said on the podium he WANTED to win. And that you have to respect.

The old Tortoise and the Hare tale. Moral of the story ...

KR has more talent and is faster . CW has a better work ethic and can go longer. Work ethic wins over talent. KR cannot run a full moto, CW get stronger as the moto gets older . That is where hard work training show. This has been the consistent theme for a while now. Surprised KR has not figured it out. Remember KR did not like training with Alden where as CW got his success when he was on the AB program. It is the old story better to have a ridder that is hungry and is willing to put in the work than one that is talented and does not want to do the work.

KR and CW tale seems to reinforce that sentiment.

I would agree that Ken has more raw speed when he is 100% on. However coop has picked up his raw speed tremendously.. people don’t give coop enough credit as to how much he has improved in whoops from last year.. being at the race it doesn’t seem like a commitment thing from him in the whoops, maybe he struggles to set his bike up in them?

I want Roczen to win, but don't be delusional man. "If things had happened differently, it would be different." It didn't. Ken rode great until he didn't ride so great, when it mattered most. Cooper started out not riding great, then rode great when it mattered most. That's reality.

I honestly don’t see anyone challenging him for a SX Championship here in the next few years. I have a feeling Roczen and Tomac’s window has closed and I don’t see anyone younger able to stick with him for 17 rounds. Maybe Sexton in 23. AC will win races but not be there the entire time. As far as 250 guys the only one I see that can possibly do it is Jett and he’s a good 3 years away from moving up. Webb could easily reel off 5 total championships in my opinion.

Webb is a pit bull. He just doesn’t quit.
Webb is damn sure the one guy you don't want behind you when you're in the lead...and you only have one lap to go.

Not if she still identified as your aunt. Don't project gender on people. lol

sarcasm...for those non-fluent in it.

I'm really not a fan of Webb (which has almost become cliche' at this point)...so I'm hoping this isn't the case. I think Sexton could do it if he stays healthy and upright...Anderson MAYBE if he can find some consistency...AP's a long shot. But you're right. As the class stands right now, unless AP7, CS23 and JA21 really step it up next year, I think Webb's in a class of his own for a while.
