If they had a person looking at the status board they might not be showing ALL the passing via replay. Pretty sure they missed every pass in the 450 main.

I am watching JB51 and CW2 gap getting smaller and I am thinking no, please don’t miss this pass cus JB loves to make contact, and CW loves to retaliate after being passed. Yup, they missed it, like they did with every other pass tonight.

I was bitching at the TV for 1/2 the race about this. Wifey told me "I wasn't being nice". It was frustrating.

Yeah I was cheesed when they stopped following Sipes. You could tell he was battling the guys near and behind and catching the guy in front. Moments later he ate it and I missed what happened and how it happened

The Slo-Mo replays that started 2+ jumps from the actual pass were killing me. On the main screen no less. Frustrating.

Then no replays or anything about it. And as soon as that crash happened they cut away to Will Christen for some filler story about Anderson and A Ray. I’ve never complained about the broadcast before this year. It’s like watching the morning news at my old high school. Missing pretty much every pass, Todd Harris getting everyone’s name wrong all night. Shit is amateur at best

Its pretty bad. Wonder if they could write into to status board software an edit that makes the times change to a red color when the gap gets to less then a second. And also sends an AUDIBLE NOTIFICATION to the announcers and the camera crew. Till then, thank god for replay.

The only real pass I saw on TV was that brilliant maneuver Anderson put on Webb. He was going twice as fast as Webb in that corner! It was unreal

i personally would have liked to see more of Kenny on the broadcast, some of his lines and his finesse around the track was a thing of beauty.

the show has been really bad this year though.

It’s like they don’t have any spotters. And they can’t look at the times to see who is close in about to make a pass. Hopefully next year is better

The only answer could be they have tv "guru" in charge of production who knows nothing of the sport and how to make it look good. It has been pretty rough and one would believe they would do what is necessary to help the production. Surveys work well haha

I like to give the TV crew the benefit of the doubt, but after watching MotoGP and how well its executed there, I have no idea why it's so lacking here. MXGP also has a much better broadcast, and Malin isn't afraid to call them out when they do something silly from a direction standpoint. Both of those types of races are on much bigger circuits than supercross.

At least we saw the McAdoo crash live, heard the hot mic during commercial break, and saw the Barcia/Webb incident happen.
