At least we had F1 last weekend, we’re beat this weekend. I might have to go outside or something

I know. Last weekend I did yard work, washed and changed oil on two cars, fixed the kids' trampoline, bought and broke in a new gas grill, and rode MX at Pala. It's like I had spare time or something.

If you're bored, venture into non-moto. Before you know it, Kenny will be kicking ass at Atlanta 1. Smile

On top of all that...it's "Spring Break".

Spring Break means "Hell Weeks" when you live at the beach. Soooo many wonderful tourists and their superb driving skills...&...let's just say some of'em "aren't quite right"...this is the time of year when you need to use the Rapator as your Beach Commuter Vehicle so that all the crazies can just bounce off of our truck as they drive like mad-fools in a 35 MPH zone!

So, if ya wanna have any REAL fun at or near the beach? DO IT EARLY! Psssst...we go paddlung at Dana at around 8am at this time of year/Hell Weeks.

As for riding at a track? Well, I -won't- be doing it on a weekend during "Hell Weeks"!

F1is losing it for me. F1has become so over regulated it isn’t interesting anymore. Yes, it’s great to watch somebody do something with a surgeons precision and no risk but I don’t know if it’s worth my time. I can also watch PBA/ PGA but I don’t. They make too much money and don’t risk enough.

Maybe have them take their helmets and seatbelts off?

It’s definitely not like it used to be, but it’s still got its moments. I think I’m gonna go motogp this weekend and see how that gets me through

No, we’re not hitting the river. We canceled an Easter get together here last year and happy to say it’s back on this year. Same close family “crew”. 7 bone Prime Rib on deck!

Imagine the disappointment when last night I went to see what time the race was on tonight. I was thinking two weeks off, not two weekends off. Sigh..

I started watching f1 at 4 am in the morning on ESPN back n the 80s..... it is now unwatchable.... sad to see the "highest " form of racing on this planet, turned into what it is today....

Yea it's bullshit for sure. They pump 3 races a week into you then no racing for 2 or 3 weeks.
Sheesh, talk about cruel and unusual punishment for the moto world. Where do I send an official protest?

All it takes is one bad first turn in one race for Coop and everything could change. Not that I'm hoping for that to happen, just point out that there is still a lot of racing left, and sometimes freaky shit happens.

Its almost as if they give us riders a break on a few Saturdays to actually go ride and not have to worry about getting home early enough to watch qualifying and the races.........what a concept. people don't appreciate your sense of humor enough IMO

I agree. It’s also what is interesting about supercross, the personal aspect plus risk.

The movie F1, yes.

Carol Shelby F1, yes.

Today’s F1 doesn’t live up to either of those ideas.
