Tonight was VERY T L D...even Christian's win is very important to those of us that remember the good'ol days of Christian riding his BMX bike around at TLD.

That was a thing of beauty. Barcia showed us once again the potential he has. And dare I say it... " he looks comfortable"

My notes:
- Hell of a ride, again, by Barcia at the opening round. And on a new bike, under pressure the whole time. Great ride
- Mookie with a clean top 5, again on a new bike/team
- Marv the Martian in 3rd? Welcome back.
- Quiet ride by AC9 but nice points
- Tomac Huh
- Ferrandis solid 7th for his 450SX debut. He's only going to get better
- Man, deep field. LOT of guys that are going to be up, down, left, and right throughout the season

Brilliant ride from the top two riders. A whole level above the rest!

Ferrandis 7th, sneaky good debut in the 450 class.

Marvin being Marvin, he'll fight for podiums 90% of the time.

Tomac did what Tomac sometimes does, we've seen it a few times already.

Plessinger with a top 10, that was a huge surprise!

Anderson, what the actual fuck happened?

He's got that "Stoke" he had on the Honda 250 combined with a new level of...and I f'n HATE saying it...a new level of maturity and humility.

I'm thinkin' he "stays in it" this year.

Lots of traffic jams and people hitting the ground. Cooper got outta there with a few points and a solid idea of what he needs to do to 'turn it up'.

ZachO went form ON THE GROUND in the 1st turn to 10th...on that "Arenacross" track. That was AWESONE!

I hope that you are right about Barcia this season.

Seeing him do this type of thing so sporadically is pretty frustrating from a fan standpoint, knowing what he CAN do and then seeing him not come close to that on a consistent basis.

I think he does better all year on the GG. The statistical history of the modern Yamaha isn't all that good.
