Although I've not had a chance to ride the bike with them I bought a pair of these Xtrig PHDS bar mounts for my YZ250F.

All these next to pros on vital and no one can give me a working guys review on xtrigs?

Vet, I've contemplated just the bar clamps like you have there but havent read anything too riveting about them by themselves.

I use Xtrig PHDS for 8 Years now due to a Shoulder Injury.
It absorbs hard impact and Vibrations you can choose 3 different rubber inserts soft/mid/hard

I’m curious about this. Just got a 21 kx 250 and want to build it a little but not sure if I should throw money elsewhere on this.

Been using them the last 5-6 years on all my bikes (KTMs and Yamahas). The first set i got was with the solid bar mounts but i went to the expensive PHDS mounts, they are worth the money. Amazing at damping vibration.

As for the clamps themselves. Really, really good stuff. And the biggest plus is the amount of bar position adjustability that is available. And the bar mount wont twist in small tip overs (issue on all my stock Yamahas and KTMs).

The ROCS Pro model has an adjustable offset. If you don't feel like you want to try an other offset than what is stock on your bike you should get the ROCS Tech model that is cheaper and basically the same clamp, it just lacks the adjustable offset. I have the ROCS Tech with PHDS mounts on my current bike because i didn't feel the need to change the offset.

The con is the price. Expensive stuff, but in my opinion worth it.

Give it some time bud, you posted this in the middle of the night in the US. Not everyone wakes up in the middle of the night to check on Vital Tongue

Riding with xtrig triple clamps and phds.

Used to have the ktm powerparts phds on my old 2013, then bought a 2019 250sx and with that xtrig triple clamps which had the phds on them.
Noticeable difference in hard hits and all around vibration compared to same bike without.

Transfered them to my 2021 350, zero issues and it’s all smooth sailing.

Expensive but nice investment.

I have the X trigs with the adjustable offset. Mine are mounted on a YZ125. I use the stock offset. I am not a fast guy, that’s for sure, I bought for looks to be honest. I am a Vet rider and just like cool looking parts. Lol.

What are you looking to accomplish with the clamps? When I built my bikes, I was torn between Xtrig and Neken SFS. I chose to go with the Neken SFS because I felt the Neken would benefit me more than the Xtrig, and I wasn’t wrong. I’m happy I made the choice I did, and another friend purchased a set after riding with mine. I chose to go the SFS route for the bump absorption and to help with small chatter.

I got the ROCS system to help with the handlebar twisting on my KX450. They work well but nothing earth shattering.

Put some on my KX 450. They are stiffer on corner entry and softer on bump absorbtion. I think they are an improvement over stock at 23mm offset. At 21mm the bike turns way better. I love mine. I didn't notice a big difference in vibration though. I think its something you need to try. Some guys like them some don't.

What I don't want to do is stiffen anything up. I'm looking for better square edge bump feedback to the bars. However, I don't want to lose connectivity and be too vague like fasstco flex bars. It doesn't look like the SFS clamps are available yet for my bike.

They stiffen up left to right, longitudinally I believe it is? So when you lean in they don't flex side to side as much, but they flex more in and out on bumps. So they turn better and are more precise while also feeling smoother. They definitely feel smoother. I bought them for the different offset, but was shock how much better they worked on the stock offset too.

I run them on my Honda 450. They are stiffer then stock clamps but I found pro taper evo bars and the xtrigs are smoother feeling than stock clamps with the renthal fat bar that is stock. The biggest improvement in my opinion is in the turns when the front end is under load the bike turns and follows lines easier and is more process regardless of track conditions.

While they're my favorite based upon looks, I just dont want to go backwards in comfort. I know all the cool kids run them, but just wanted some real world average Joe feedback.

Have you tried Pro taper evo bars? Cheaper than X-Trigs and flex very well. It’s a must for any of my bikes now.

I've ran one set of pro tapers in my life and I can't remember if they were evos or not. I had them on the rmz in my avatar. I'm thinking they may have been contours though. I've ran alota fat bars since the early 2000s and always thought they had a decent flex to them. I've read differently lately though.

I have ROC Pros with PDHS on my YZ250F, they do make a decent amount of change. Vibration in the bar is cut down quite a bit, they also cut the feel down on sharp hits and square edges and seem to transfer more front wheel feel through the bar. Do i like them yes, would i give full MSRP after owning them probably not, i found mine used for half price. They do look super sharp though if that matters to you at all.

I had renthal fat bars and bent them in practice at a harescramble. Vendor only have the Evos in the Carmichael bend, bought them and figured I would run them for the race then keep them as backups. Being a taller guy I thought I would hate the Carmichael bend but it’s the only bar I run now, the evo flexes more than the renthals for sure too. I had my bike on a stand and stood up and pushed down on the bars and then hopped on my friends with renthals and the evos flexed more.

What is everyone doing for a bar pad to fit the pro tapers with the phds setup?

I like them helps with vibration and I like the feel..only con is I like to tweak bar position a lot and it kind of a pain because you have to center them just right and torque the perfect not always practical if you are in a hurry like between motos or something
