So basically, lose four weeks worth of work at this point, pay for a flight then, perhaps the guy isn’t even at his shop.
Awful lot of variables for you to make that claim. I can’t do it. These guys shouldn’t have to either. I had a 7 day turn around for work I had done on a cylinder/head with another company.
You feel for these guys but, started off with oh he’s great, he built, he tuned for. Big deal. That doesn’t mean anything without customer service when these people paid for work to be done and, have waited two years. If I still lived in So Cal I’d be parked in his driveway. That’s doable. A cross country flight? Nah, I’d opt for my own Terry Varner Motorsports review and daily updates on YouTube in a conference call with everyone missing shit in this thread. He’s pissed about a thread......
Did you guys not pay in advance so that he needed to finish in order to be paid? What was the difference in your good/great service and these horror stories?
It’s weird seeing such different treatment. Not to equate what Varner has done to these guys, but this reminds me of a quip that a psych instructor once made many years ago. “Ted Bundy was a great, charming guy to the vast majority of people who he interacted with. But for at least 30 of them, he was a real devil.”
I’m torn by this thread as well, as the guy I dealt with was not what I see on here.

And now we have part of the moto industry committing theft and fraud, and all the brown nosers, sycophants and wannabees are donning their knee pads and noshing on down.
As per usual, the laws of physics never apply on vital and the fastest engines can only be built by one guy in the center of the so cal moto universe, with an infinite lead time.
And unlike many on here, some of us did understand the guy claiming the extra 15hp over competitors engines was joking lol
I sent you a PM last night. I’m hoping you got it. If you get a chance, pm me back and we can exchange emails for starters. I’d like to get the ball rolling in hopes of you getting your engine back. If there’s anyone else on here who has stuff they want back, PM me as well as I’d like to consolidate everything into one run. I do not foresee future help after one trip to Varners.
You’d think Varner would stop taking work until he gets people their motors back. And maybe use a schedule or a calander. Figure out how many hours it actually tekes him to do a job and show up and do it. But nope.
Chance is offering a solid way ahead, yet HE'S the one having to reach out to the guy needing the assistance to get his engine back. Does that even sound logical to any of you? That tells me a lot about why the problem is still going on.
