There was a killer thread in here with videos of Stewart at a Florida practice track doing some crazy things. Anyone have a link to that thread? It had so many amazing videos in it. I can’t find it.

I’m sure there’s a few threads filled of stew vids worth unearthing if there’s any one good at searching!!

Or just post up some killer stew vids here! The things that he made stewable we’re truly insane!!

I believe Reed and RC both hit it clean once a piece in practice, with Reed casing the holy hell out of
It the second time he hit it. Neither did it in the main, Stewar was the only one hitting it clean all night.

Now that you mention it, this one had me mesmerized for a while last night. I might even watch it again.

Yeah I think I remember the MXA report said the same thing.

Gary Bailey just posted this round on his youtube and I watched it the other night.

No doubt the quad was gnarly, but I don't think for the section it was quicker... when you tripled on you were quick and low into the pocket of the next and tripled out.

These have to be in a Bubba video thread... although fair warning, some of them appear to be filmed on a potato.

For some reason I can’t find the video on YouTube anymore but it’s the second moto from the 2013 MEC when James won. That battle with RV was epic. James was consistently hitting that quad after the first corner, RV did it once then ate it pretty hard his second attempt.

Which race was the first “scrub” by James? I thought it was Budds 2003?

That was the one where Bailey commentated and paused – but truthfully he did it quite a bit in SX in 2002... he would draw a line diagonally across the triples to past people and whip it hard and stay low, he just wasn't turning down when he did it.

I'd love to see him even with his big body out flogging a 250 2 stroke and having fun!

I was not alive when Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. But that moment standing in front of my mother's kitchen television when James did that scrub must have felt like something similar.

I remember him doing it in SX races earlier that year (pontiac is a good example), but something was magical about that one. Maybe it was the fact he was on a charge from last place to first.

Haha, yep!

I think the pre-jump aspect of it and the big round crown of that particular jump, and the far fall away means you really processed what the fuck he just did. He was basically flat before the crest.

When they do it over a triple, honestly they ca. Scrub up or down and physics wise it has a similar result, getting low, so you maybe don’t process it as a scrub when you don’t know better in 2002, it’s just a hectic whip.
