Heading from NorCal to get out of town. Yes I know there’s a chance of rain.. that being said, what’s probably the best spot to go at the moment? Two vet int riders and a female novice. Pala is a no.. and we’ll GH is running world vets.

Watched a few go pros but hard to tell on some of them

Thanks!

Another vote for cahuilla here. The vet track gets pretty chewed up but the main is really fun and no huge jumps. Good for all skill levels. I may head out there this weekend.

Can't go wrong with Perris or Statefair. Both are great in my opinion.

I have to give my vote to Cal City Mx. (Cahuilla a close second.) I’ve ridden all the tracks down here in the past year and it’s by far my new favorite. Prep is great and it’s a fun flowing track. State fair, Perris, and Pala are all a zoo on the weekends.. Cal City will have a lighter crowd. Plus that double in the middle is fun as hell!

Bro...
There's a rare open practice at the Oatfield on Saturday and a Jeff Pastana (MxClinic) school on Sunday!

Yeah if weather up near oatfield is good this weekend, I’d ride there. Otherwise LACR is looking like your best bet.

Cal city would be a good choice imo...less crowded, decent prep and you will probably hit less traffic going that direction.

Not an oatfield fan man.. we’re riding at dt1 on Sunday for a shorter trip home.

The dirt there is like no other.. but I do not like the prep that the promoter provides. And it’s always a zoo when there is a practice day.

I’ll give my vote to cal city. Better dirt, better prep and John is all about his customers! Great dude and a great facility.

Lake Elsinore also has great tracks, but if you prefer a sand track like glen helen or pala or lacr etc, lake elsinore would not be your best choice. Elsinore has 2 nice vet tracks, a very long and wide main track that is not difficult, a newly built supercross track, a beginner track for minis, a pee wee track, a quad track, and an rc car track. The main track does have a big step up jump and a 90 foot sky jump if you like to do big jumps, otherwise, those can easily be ridden over safely at lower speeds.

Elsinore also stays open until 4pm, where perris and state fair were closing at 2pm the last time I rode there, plus Elsinore has overnight dry camping.

There are several videos online of all the Elsinore tracks, but if you look at them, make sure they are newer than 8 months because all the tracks were changed.

Also, if you need to rent an mx bike or pit bike etc, I have a rental business close to elsinore and perris, and the lowest rates in the area.

Wherever you ride, I hope you have a good weekend.

Me, est710 and Langhammx will be at Cal City Saturday. It's a helluva lot closer to Yuba City than the others!
