how was the 14-15 KTM sxf450 ?

how did the older gen ktm handle and run ? i could get one cheap and wonder if they could stand up against the new bikes? i mean it still has electric start and hydro clutch and not to heavy, and wp cc spring forks. so it cant be that bad ?

EU 2015 had WPCC right? Not 4CS.

Older gen bike feels like older gen, but probably plenty good for most/many.

I would take a 14-15' yz or rmz over that bike all day long. Don't have to kick if you stop on a hill.

yes its an eu modell so it does not have 4cs forks, but it didnt seems to be very well liked here.

If the bike is cheap enough, fork fix with KYB inserts makes them better than current air forks. Body work is a bit wider but being a taller guy, I felt comfortable on the chassis. 450 4strokes, for a number of years, have been better than most of us.

I had a 15 and thought it was a good bike. The power and handling were good. The forks while not on the level of the Yamaha worked fine for me. The fit and finish was top notch.

My 15.5 Factory Edition that became the 16 works very well including the 4CS forks.

I had a 2015 fc450 which was similar and yes the forks were not good, but just put some spring replacements. It was my first European bike and I haven’t gone back!
