It didn't look photoshopped. May have been a screenshot of a instastory with low resolution. My guess is that he was/may be testing the Yamaha before JMart got signed without Honda knowing and the post could jeopardize his possible ongoing negotiations with HRC... Who knows.

star yamaha is contracted to thor gear..
Jett being in Astars was the weird part. doesnt make sense,
he is a free agent due to Shift being Geico's team gear.

But what looked as a Yamaha logo. monster logo in the middle and astars gear.
looks identical to what barcia wears.

A-Stars/Yam/Monster is a different combo if the post was a true image. Star is partnered with Thor, no? Barcia has (had) that combo but on the 450 side obviously.

450 and 250 teams are 2 different teams.
same as geico honda and HRC,
thats the reason bam bam could run astars.


knowing thor is still the team gear now for 250 and 450, and barcia gone.
the whole yamaha team will be in thor.

so Jett being in Astars is odd.

Could that blue logo on the shoulder be anything other than a Yamaha logo?

It would make sense that Jett gets a personal gear sponsor if he's not tied to FC Honda anymore. Alpinestars is just about as logical as anyone else, especially if they are losing Barcia.

I could almost understand if he was staying with Honda & getting Astars on board (Sexton signed a gear deal with Astars so maybe the HRC team moving forward will be with Astars, minus Kenny of course because he's already in a contract with Fox?) So maybe the 250 HRCs will run the same gear. The monster logo doesn't make sense though since Monster is staying on both Yamaha & Kawasaki, can't see it bleeding over to Honda as well.

I can guarantee you two things. One, Jett is not racing a Yamaha next year, it’ll be a Honda. Two, he’s not going to be with Monster.

Tried some gear that had been printed for a different rider, simple as that.

I guess I’m more curious at this point of what gear the 250 Honda guys will wear since I’m assuming the shift/fox gear deal is gone with the closing of FC. HRC could put the 250s on an Alpinestars gear deal so once Kenny is out, HRC will run alpinestars for both 250/450 like Yamaha is going to do with Thor. There isn’t a chance of personal sponsor deals going away right? Seems like teams are starting to all run the same gear within the team with the exception established riders like Tomac, Anderson, Barcia
