Not seen that...
Bigger wheels too??
I would love to see some of the vets from mxgp (simpson, van horebeek, bobry, etc.) ride in mx2 and not force guys like Jacobi and Sterry to move up.

TKO is in a similar position.
People are wondering why Prado gets such good starts ( same with Cairoli) .. its because they are small, and while there are times when a bit of extra weight can help with grip, with the grate starts , that is lessened.
The age rule that forces guys that would be career 250 guys up , onto bikes they struggle with, is why bigger guys dont get to move up when size dictates they should .
For sure he hasnt delivered the podiums, he should have, but he will be good on a 450 because he is a technique rider, not a guy who just hangs off all the time.
Like his brother, he got to big for a 250 too early, and as Nathan showed on the ICE One Husky , he was a much better 450 rider.
I dont expect Ben to be any different.
Still there is a point that some riders excel on a 250 like covington, others do better on a bigger bike.
And AJ and big Ken have proved that you cant be too big for a 450
Watson would probably be cheaper and able to put in similar results as Desalle?
Running 3 bikes would be the best but if they can only field 2, then i would go for Watson.
Also their is the question about Jasikonis returning, maybe they take a 3rd rider while he recovers. They ran Nathan Watson on a limited budget on a lower spec bike when Nagl was there .
Pit Row
The question is do you believe Watson is comparable to Evans or more to the trio of Vlaanderen, Jacobi and Sterry (who managed to score 6 top 10 finishes compared to the 14 Desalle had).
As for Desalle, for a serious reduction in salary i'd be interested to keep him if i'm Kawasaki. On his day and track imo he still can get some results. With some bonus that he is a french speaking guy in a mainly french team if i'm not mistaken.
Injuries aside, if he doesnt improve you still have a guy who should get a podium, and if he does improve who knows what he can do.
Don't know his salary demands obviously.
But no, that couldn't be, GP riders are paid buggerall ( this seems to be what most think), aren't they.
?...........
But for next year i cant see him being able to ask for that same price, simply because of results wise and with this whole Covid stuff.
Yamaha was willing to pay him good those years, but seems to be able to pay to same or more for Coldenhoff. Next to Coldenhoff is Seewer for 21.
Is he willing to ride the 3rd bike if it’s there in 21 for a paycut? I don’t think he will and agree with that position.
Switching Paulin for Desalle makes no sense to me. They put in the same results the last few years and Desalle is there a long time.
Maybe a Satellite team with Factory backing and some good sponsors will be a option for him. Being #1 on the team and still can make some decent money.
