What happened with Jason Anderson? He didn't finish the first heat and didn't started in the second.
Also, I know it is soon, has someone news about Max Anstie?

Thanks

On the broadcast, they said JA21 was having issue with a plate in his arm from last seasons injury.

Matthes said on Twitter that Anstie has a broken jaw. Ouch! Hate it for him - he was crushing it.

Anstie looked to land hard on his head and took a while to get up. Hope he is okay!

Ugh. Sucks for him. Results as good as his in this deep field are no joke, and I hope they are noticed. He was crushing it.

JA was seen leaving the track with his hand in a cast. Hopefully just a preventative measure but unfortunately when old hardware starts to nag or cause issues that usually means getting it removed.

Looks like Anstie will be back for Redbud (per his IG). Maybe not 100% but man that's great to hear. I thought that was at least a broken femur. On the broadcast you could see him on the ground for several full laps

Oh No......Damn it! He was just getting into the mix and looking good too. What a damn bummer.

Edit.......Did not read the entire thread before I posted. Glad Max is OK.

Couple of laps down, I was just hoping it wasn't a ACL. Broken jaw, hope there's no concussion issues & we see you next week

Broke my jaw on both sides. There wasn't any doubt in my mind my jaw was broke although I was talking fine. Having your jaw wired for 6-weeks is a real bummer. No real pain, just a pain in the ass. Love to watch Max and JA, hope they heal up well.
