Hi just looking for if there are any forks or products that support External High Speed Compression Dampening in forks. "just looking for external mid valve control (high speed) so i can have constant and consistent dampening through the whole stroke. low speed dampening mixed with the right oil level controls the low speed stuff and spring rate controls the suspension its self and how the bike holds up under braking and weight transfer. if i could control the mid i could find a setting fr the small slow bumps with low speed or normal dampening then use the mid valve (high speed) to find the high speed setting for big bumps then just have a normal bottom out stack inside the fork since that's a very stiff setting its more for crazy situations so i don't need to control that."

Not sure what you mean. All modern forks with shim stacks are technically speed sensitive.

oh so just looking for suspension with external high speed adjustment.

gets annoying going from sand which needs to be stiff for the big bumps and then going to a clay track that needs a more supple fork for small chop.

I'm not sure, but I think Kreft may have something along the line of what you are after.

I think I recall Novations having aftermarket H/L Comp base valves available back in the mid '00s but those were for the open cartridge forks which would be much easier to make work than modern closed cartridges. I never saw one up close but I'm sure it worked like shock comp units since that's what an open cart BV is. Pretty sure Novations is the same company as NOST you see specializing in minibike suspension nowadays

It'd be harder to make it work in closed cartridge because of the ICS and free piston but if Kreft can make the adjustable mid valve work it can be done with some ingenuity.

Your looking for adjustable preload control to set initial fork stiffness

not exactly i can do that with spring rate just looking for external mid valve control (high speed) so i can have constant and consistent dampening through the whole stroke. low speed dampening mixed with the right oil level controls the low speed stuff and spring rate controls the suspension its self and how the bike holds up under braking and weight transfer. if i could control the mid i could find a setting fr the small slow bumps with low speed or normal dampening then use the mid valve (high speed) to find the high speed setting for big bumps then just have a normal bottom out stack inside the fork since that's a very stiff setting its more for crazy situations so i don't need to control that.
