Roan Van De Moosdijk

Edited Date/Time 8/17/2020 2:13pm
We talk a lot about Vialle vs Geerts in MX2 but Van De Moosdijk is doing very good for his first full MX2 season. It's a shame that he was so far back after Valkenswaard, but in three rounds he came from 12th to 3rd in the points, scoring 122 points (while Geerts had 127 and Vialle 130, which is close while next rider in line was Boisrame scoring 96 points in Latvia). And remember how good hz was in the sand of Lommel last year, even Haarup and Forato were about 3 seconds a lap slower. I'm almost sure he's gonna be champ by the time he turns 23...

Van De Moosdijk rides with abandon and is so damn strong. He's a beast. His riding style reminds me of Herlings. Did Malin say he lives near Lommel?

I think Malin loves saying his name.
I like Benestant (think thats how it's pronounced) in EMX250 i think he is going to do some damage in MX2 next year.

He lives close to all deep sand tracks, including Lommel. We had the pleassure to have the F&H team at our track. All three of them have crazy speed.

He’s never been with the team if I remember. Marc de Reuver is the trainer of the team

Yeah, all F&H riders had a podium this season and all races except Valkenswaard F&H has been on the podium.

It's nice to see that Kawasaki has a strong team in MX2, without injuries they will be a podium threat every race.

What impresses me the most about him is his development from where he was a few years ago. I was in Spain training in December 2018 before the 2019 season and he was way slower than Adam Sterry and Jacobi, like you could see with your eyes that he was at least a couple of seconds off them.

Now look at him. He is probably as good or better than Jacobi ever was in his last MX2 season. And RvdM will turn 20 years old later this year, i can absolutely see him as a future world champion.

Everyone noticed the Monster Energy sponsorship on Boisrame/VDM/Haarup helmets now ?
