I contacted Progressive about covering 3 of my bikes. Although the price was really good, he said that if I had a claim such as total loss from theft or fire, the insurance company will determine the value at the time of loss. How can I be sure that I can get a fair value without a declared value policy, which they don't offer?

That's how insurance works. You won't get a stayed value unless it's something like a classic car.
Yes you can. I spoke with someone at Markel and he said that I can get declared value, but I need to have the bikes appraised.

All prices. Vary, stock, added parts type of coverage, zip code etc. Not all prices are the same

I have 3 bikes covered under progressive for $45 a month.

DO NOT tell them you race the dirt bike, if they ask just say it's for private use, use it to ride around a field or farm.

Maybe they think it is a street bike?

I’ve got progressive but mine was way more than some stated above.  I guess they saw me coming.  I also have full replacement value or something like that.

I recently insured a bike through liberty mutual. Theft protection from anywhere, liability, 3k in aftermarket parts for around $20 a month with the ama member discount. After they give you the details, tell them you are going to shop around a little, and they will lower the price. They told me $45 a month at first

I got my bill from progressive the other day.   Seems like it was 310 a year for 2 of my scooters.  That’s about 25 a month give or take.  Just thought about it, I have two that’s not insured.  I might want to call my insurance gal and add them.

I went with progressive shortly after I posed the question to you guys. I pay $85 per year.

And they seem to drop every time I renew with no claims.

Full transparency, I haven’t had a claim yet so I have no idea how good the insurance is.

My stuff is pretty securely locked up, but it’s insured by .223, .308, and 9mm. If you’re not invited onto my property, it would be wise to steer clear. I always assume my life is in danger when others trespass.

Do you have them booby trapped for when you are not home?

Not to worried about it when I'm at the house, big issue is when were gone to Vegas or something lol

I have a 22 yz450 and a 23 crf450 insured with progressive, so I don't know what you are talking about. $200 a year for both.
