Finally bought a bike after a 6-7 year retirement. Good friend of mine hooked me up with a sick 2018 yz450f. The arm pump is crucial right now.

Welcome...

Beware: Many STFU Noob posts coming your way! Laughing

Psssst...over here....while no-one is looking....try standing a little more than you usually would...over the front/more forward than you normally would and let the bike push you MORE than it "pulls" you. Look for old images of Danny Hamel or Kurt Caselli haaaaaauling ass across the dezert for a visual. Also, there are times that you can catch Eli or Jeffrey doing this...mostly ourdoors.

Good luck!

Now...STFU! Noob! Laughing

Thanks guys for the welcome! Right now juggling work and family and trying to get that one day a week in for just me time is hard, but so far the 3 times I've went ive did nothing but smile from ear to ear. Don't know how much you miss something until its gone. I'm like a little school girl out there giggling around the track.

Good for you for taking that "me" time. While you may feel guilty at first (at least I did) it's necessary. Stoked for you man.

Dang it-that is a helluva bike to jump on after a 6-7 year hiatus-no wonder you have arm pump! Take it easy-rule #1. Rule #2-when you think you should go out for one last ride of the day-don't! Enjoy and welcome back.
