I use non-ethanol 91 pump gas in all my bikes 'cause we're at 6500' elevation and go thru at least 5 gallons/week, riding 2-4 times. Race gas would, unfortunately, eat me up budget-wise. Even so... I always gaze enviously at the cans of race gas on my way back from window shopping at Victoria's Secret.
BTW.... "town" is 1300 people, 30 miles away. Last summer I just ordered 250 gallons of 91 non-ethanol to one of the ranch gas tanks and that was nice. They can't get it anymore, so I'm looking around for another supplier.
100LL is much better than pump fuel, particularly the ethanol tainted crap. It's not on par with real race gas, but neither is the price.

The non-ethanol, non-seasonal, long-lasting 100ll fuel works great. Does it work as well as C12? No, but at under $5.00 a gallon it's a worthwhile tradeoff for me. My KTM and my son's CR250 both need more knock resistance than the 91 pump piss offers.
Would 100ll be a good option on a stock TTR110? Nope, the TTR will run better on 87 pump due to the fuel burning quicker than the Av gas does.
So while 100ll is not the ideal fuel for everyone, it is certainly not a bad choice for those not wanting to spend $20 a gallon but need the additional octane. As a benefit, the lack of ethanol helps keeps oil from breaking down and doesn't attack the rubber components in the fuel system.
