I have that ramp and have used it for years, hauling 1 bike and 2 bike combinations. While the platforms the bikes sit on are aluminum the strength comes for the steel bar running from front to back which is about 60 pounds. I used it on a half ton suburban ... more »

I haven’t used both but have owned the double carrier aluminum one for awhile now with no issues. The rails that the bikes sit on are the only part that’s aluminum. The main bar that inserts into the hitch is roughly 75lbs and is steel.

eBay is going to be your best bet probably. I had to get a new one for my 12 last year and there were plenty of decent priced used ones. I ended up finding a new one for not much more than some of the used ones. It’s been a little while but I came across ... more »

Will that work with the lug differences though? You’re running the kyb kit forks on your 19 right? Seems like the fat end of the axle of the old gen wouldn’t fit correctly in the new fork lug on the new Showa fork. With the new gen forks you would need ... more »

Contact Dubya wheels and see about changing the front wheel bearings. If memory serves me correct I believe I remember someone posting on here that they had purchased a set of wheel from them and when they bought a newer KX450 sent them back to Dubya ... more »

From my understanding the rear should fit you would just need to change the rotor since the new model rotor is larger. For the front I believe you will need to have the bearings removed and the new model bearings pressed into the hub, then run the new ... more »

This is also correct. While Carvana is now a publicly traded company it was started by the owner of Drivetime and his son is the CEO.

Try to find a good source of ethanol free fuel. I currently run a 50/50 mix of VP u4.4 and 92 ethanol free fuel. It gets me pretty close to 100 octane and keeps the oxygen content lower than the VP T4 which sometimes can cause some backfire pop. I can ... more »

Stop using AV gas for motocross 🤦🏻‍♂️! There are more variables than just an octane number! AV gas is designed for planes which run on much lower rpm rates than dirt bikes and the burn rate of the fuel is much lower. This fuel is not designed for motocross ... more »

I keep my empty VP metal cans and fill them up with 92 ethanol free from Buccee. If you are going to store fuel use metal cans as plastic is will lose octane and go bad faster. The closest Buccee to you looks to be in Dallas.

Added reply in a thread Mixing C12 with LL100? 7/23/2020 10:28 PM

Don’t run AV gas. AV gas is designed to burn at a slow rate due to planes running at a much lower RPM rate than your standard 4 stroke dirt bike. You are also better off running fuel without ethanol. If you are able to buy VP u4.4 and mix it with the ... more »
