Living life as a father and husband.

Although, funny how we all thought RV would disappear after retirement and Dungey would stick around. No issues with Dunge doing what he's doing

That's disappointing. I'd buy it if it were good. Been a BRCC member for a few years now. Hard to move away from them.

I’ll admit, I’m kind be spoiled being a Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee drinker. But I’ll try anything once. Hopefully he will have more variety, it wasn’t bad Coffee, but I had my hopes up too high.
This shouldn’t detour anyone else from trying it, I’m sure some will love it !!

I'd imagine Ryan has roasted it with a subtle flavour. Nothing exciting, but it gets the job done. So subtly boring that you don't even notice that it's doing the job but it always seems to be there Tongue

Any good ?

It’s not cheap, but everyone owes it to themselves to try it at least once.

Still cheaper than going to a coffee shop and better coffee.

There is so much good coffee out there for so much less. You are paying for a reputation and supposed exclusivity with Blue Mountain. I pay $13 to $15lb for beans from local roasters that is easily as good if not better.
Go try some different beans. Beans are like wine.

I’m never happy till I find a small roastery, run by obsessive half science, half art type people. Bonus points for riding a Italian push bikes.
“Rocket Coffee” Hamilton New Zealand set the standards very high.

Finally after moving home to Australia, I’ve found “Kai Coffee” on the Sunshine Coast, QLD.
They sell some sensational beans.

Really, if you walk in, and there are no computer screens with live temp traces attached to the roaster, and the guy running it doesn’t look like he’s ever tried to “shock” a Frankenstein Type creation to life, go elsewhere.

We had this when we went to Jamacia and were sold! We got the blue mtn bag and brought it back to US and made our first cup but wasn't the same. I guess we will just have to go back to Jamacia and enjoy it there instead!

That’s what got me hooked. I took my chick to Sandals (Dunn’s River), which I highly suggest. What a bitchen place...
But the coffee really is the best I’ve had. I’ve tried 100’s of different brands since and nothing has been able to replace the Jamaican coffee.

Don’t even get started then, once you e had a really good cup of coffee, you’ll use that Folgers to kill the weeds in the backyard !

I’ve been drinking this coffee for 25 years and have tried lots of others. If you haven’t tried true JBM coffee, you just wouldn’t understand.
I don’t drink wine, so I can’t relate to that. .

I have. It’s good coffee but just one of many. Clearly the flavour profile works with your taste buds.
It’s a pretty subjective, like MX boots and gear. Most people in the coffee business would agree it’s over rated, over priced and over hyped.
Glad you like it.

Same here. I usually rotate through AK-47, CAF and Silencer Smooth.

Have you tried their exclusive coffee subscription? I’m thinking about it, but it’s pricey at $25/mo.

I had the same experience. Awesome blue mountain coffee while in Jamaica; bought a bag to make at home and it just wasn't the same. Maybe it was the creamer Laughing

Got to use 'cold brew', even the cheap stuff is pretty good that way!
