I found it odd that on his social media platforms, he didn’t thank MCR at the end of SX. And I don’t recall much on the MCR insta account about Malcom. I suspected that something had already been signed and both sides are stepping back from each other.

I hope he has another offer line up to be asking Moto concept for more money. He had a great season with the team but that was only really one season and he came close to podium. But I don’t think that gives him enough stock to be picky. I don’t think he would want to go back to being a privateer. Malcolm is the top rider for MCR, if they loose Malcolm I hope get someone better then hill. Hill does not seem very motivated and to contempt on his results. Like he just going through the paces.

Kroc, sexton. Both ride outdoors. Brayton was a seat warmer for chase.

I don't see him getting a factory ride with any of the main teams and Honda especially because his fitness level is not up with guys like Tomac or Webb or even Sexton, now he can ride as fast or faster then any of them but if he is gonna fade then there is no way they will sign him to factory team.

On average he is not as fast as either one of the guys mentioned. Mookie is getting better and a performance based factory ride would be well served. He needs to do outdoors to improve his fitness and go into the SX series with a huge base. He can do it no problem

Not sure I can agree with you on that. Barcia is the king of A-1, but hasn’t shown his potential lately.

James has mentioned more than a few times in interviews, plus on the SX commentary videos that he did last year about his thinking about starting his own team. I doubt it would happen with Mookie riding for his brother...but it would sure be a hoot if it did happen.

If Mookie can't get a full Factory ride, that's a damn shame. This kid is fast as hell and works his butt off. Forget who his brother is, he's made a name for himself and deserves it. He has the talent, skill, and heart....2 of those you can't teach.

This ^^^^^^ MCR is his best bet for SX only by a long shot. Who knows though....maybe a new option coming?

Brayton was SX only because the plan was in place to have Sexton defend his SX title(Honda likes to run the #1 plate) and then move up to the 450 outdoors. That deal was done before HRC signed Brayton.
