Gary Bailey has been posting more videos over the last few days . 84 and 85 High Point , 84 MX and Trophee des Nations among others. If you enjoy watching old moto you need to subscribe to his channel. The last few laps of the first 500 moto get pretty intense between Bailey and Ward.

That was awesome thanks for sharing!

I didn't start going to nationals until 93' so my biggest regret is never seeing a 500 national live in person.

Gary Bailey's Youtube channel has some great videos, thanks for sharing. 86 was Bailey's year on the 500. RJ had pretty much dominated the supercross and 250 outdoor class, so at least Bailey was able to get some vindication on the big bike.

I just watched the whole thing... everything about it was epic...I may have even been there...I miss the 125 class 😭

It was weird to see O'mara on a 500. Was this the only time he rode the 500 series?

From 87 through 89 he was on Team Suzuki so no 500. He rode the 1990 500 series on a Kawasaki and finished 3rd in points.
