How did your test come out?

Are you positive it was negative, or are you negative because it was positive?
I had the nose test 2 weeks ago and it came back negative. My doctor told me today the nose test is only 70% in its ability to detect it so he did x-rays this afternoon

With 900 people there will be several positive tests. I'm very interested to see how it plays out once results start coming in. Even if it's not a rider, losing an essential team member for the remainder of the series could be an issue.

What happens if someone’s mechanic is positive, and the riders been working with them since the test before the results. Is there a new test getting done?

We will start finding out tomorrow when the list from the first days testing comes out. FELD/FIM can't cheat this one and hide anything. The State of Utah has it's ass on the line with this venture.

EDIT: If there is a positive test, they quarantine for 14 days and get re-tested. So 16 days minimum.

I guess that explains why my post expressing to someone "sorry for their loss"...and subsequent pics of dining out on San Diego bay and honoring our fallen heroes on Memorial day went poof.

I find it interesting that some of the people on this forum ride dirt bikes. Riding is dangerous, you can die and have permanent disabilities. There are many ways to have any one of these dangers happen to any of us at any time, everyday. People can be extreme in both directions with their thoughts and actions. I am an adult and aware of the virus around us. Am I going to put my life on hold till someone tells me it is safe to live? Absolutely not! I have been so damn curious for so damn long about HOW, IN THE WORLD, some of you who post on here can possibly muster the courage to straddle a motocross bike, start it up, put it in gear, let out the clutch, and aim it toward a motocross track with an intent to race it. I mean, good lord, some of you seem petrified to the point of immobility of facing even the slimmest chance of contracting the virus, and yet - AND YET - you're (supposedly) voluntarily involved in a sport that comes with a written guarantee of danger up to and including death. It's not merely weird, it's UFO sighting weird.

I'm beginning to think you're all bots. Especially that dude (bot) from Australia.

I have wanted to say something similar for two months but I was so afraid of getting flamed by others! Thank you for saying it for me.

Agreed. I hope it doesn't affect any of the titles. But I do predict at least one team will be thrown a major curveball in the next 48 hours.

It was super-easy. Just a little brain tickle, with a side of eyeball. The only thing I was surprised about was that they left it in there for a bit. I talked with one truck driver who was uncomfortable with it. Everyone else seemed to think it was no big deal.

What makes you say that? How many positive tests came out of NASCAR? I think you're being overly pessimistic....

I agree, the law of averages only applies to the "average". The odds are these guys have had a much higher degree of social distancing, less random contact and better hygiene than the "average".

That still doesn't mean it won't happen, just that it's less likely than "average".

2 more days! LET'S RACE!!!

~10% of covid tests administered in the US are positive. Just 1% of the 900 would be 9 people.

*I can't find that NASCAR issued mass covid-19 tests.

The bear pics are funny dude. I forgot what the secret meaning is tho. I just got my 1st mask, delivery here in Mn. Walmart. They won,t let us in the building without 1. They take your temperature also. I was told not to return again, Because of my extreme handsomeness is too distracting.Smile and extensive posing is not allowed on the property.Smile

Well, it’s the 2nd day of “bad news”‘for anyone that’s gonna get it; so, what’re we hearing?

With all the secrecy in this sport, I expect anyone testing positive will "withdraw from the SX season after having suffered an undisclosed injury while practicing."

My first hand experiences:

3 tests.

1 positive (I read the test and immediately thought the tech was full of crap)

1 Negative with antibodies the next day (again, I didn't see any line that would suggest this)

1 completely negative.

So, who the hell is profiting from these tests? I'm guessing George Soros.
