We are really trying to give the community things they have been requesting for years. Hopefully we can deliver!
+ Gameplay is still MSM. It controls like it should and feels very much like the MSM we all know and love, just slightly improved
+ Visually the game looks a little better. It's 3d first of all but it never takes focus from the gameplay or feels like low end phones won't be able to run it.
+ Versus mode is a nice concept of ranked play that MSM2 was missing.
+ Bike upgrades and parts. A system I feel is much more fun than just buying a complete "tier x" bike.
+ Career mode challenges. A better version of replayability than the MSM2 version of just doing the same track with a faster opponent.
- Versus mode right now is at least 50% bots (might even be 100% for all I know). These are very obvious (even though they are masked as "real people") and almost impossible to beat. It might just be a beta thing cause I sure hope the game isn't full of bots just to reduce matchmaking time. I also think this trend in the gaming industry of masking bots with "real" usernames and "real" profile pictures is unnecessary and wrong.
- Career mode zones should give you enough gold and xp to be able to buy the next zone right away. Maybe you'd have to beat all the challenges to do it but the amount required to move forward should be in the zone you're in. Having to wait for the dailys to reset or to open gear bags just to progress is not fun.
- While the upcoming "teams" feature sound neat, I really hope there is a friends list or the possibility to challenge whoever you want whenever you want without having to be in the same "team". This is a biggie for me and if this feature won't exist I might even stick to playing challenges with my friends in MSM2 instead, as that is why I play that game most of the time.
The sheer amount of bots in multiplayer and the fact that doing career challenges doesn't reward enough is the biggest reason I don't play this all the time right now.
It does however have a promising future if these small kinks get sorted. But friend challenges MUST be there.

From the video's I've seen, it does not appear that you can ride a wheelie the entire time to gain speed; has this been removed? Also, will the feature of riding a front wheel down a hill to gain speed be in this game? And will it be possible to do the back-flip wheelie scrub?
We nerfed the nose wheelie so you can no longer go crazy super fast down hills.
You can still back scrub and all that.
I'll address your negative points.
Bots. There are a decent amount of "bots", which are actually just replays of old VS matches. This is because it is only released to a small number of people at the moment. Once we release globally and have millions of people playing this won't be a problem. We also have the matchmaking time limit set to only 5 seconds at the moment. We can always increase this to give you more chance to match with a real player.
Career mode progression. We purposely made it so you can't just blaze through career in a day. We want it to take players a long time to complete career mode and the journey should be fun. Try not to think of this game as a race to get the fastest bike and then just spend years playing on that one bike. We want players to spend time on multiple different bikes and have fun on all of them. I think tier 6-7 bikes feel like some of the best in the game and I don't mind if I'm chilling on one of those for a few weeks.
One thing that isn't implemented yet, but will be soon is getting rewards for replaying career tracks. So you'll be able to go in and replay any track you have unlocked and get rewarded for it.
We will have fun events that will match players with other people of similar skill/rank/bike so being on a slower bike won't really be much of a disadvantage.
There will also be rewards for Jam events. So the higher you place the bigger the reward. That should make events a bit more interesting.
I'm looking at our profile screen that isn't implemented yet and there is a button for "edit friends". So I think we have full plans for adding a friends list as well as a team feature. So don't worry about that.
We are adding a way to challenge friends in VS matches. Not exactly sure the date that will be out but it should be sometime close to when we launch globally.

I've played Mad Skills MX for years, and love it. I'm stoked to try a new version.
This new version is awesome, some great improvements especially the VS mode.
The navigation and bike upgrades is still a little confusing, just a big change from previous versions.
Not trying to sound negative, that's just an observation, and maybe its just me.
Also I like the tracks a lot more than the ones recently available on MSMX2, great work on that!
I've been providing feedback via Testflight, hopefully you're receiving it.
Thanks again
Glad you seem to like it overall! Testflight feedback works. Even better if you leave it in our Discord (which you probably joined since you're on the beta). There are a bunch of specific MSM3 Beta channels in there for feedback.
Thanks for the feedback, it is much appreciated!
