mx vs atv all out

I'm stoked to hear what they've got up their sleeves, hopped on it last night and did some online on SX and it turned into a full lobby after a few races. It was super fun and felt good to get some wins!

If you are on Xbox the qualifier is at Red Bud, if you are PS4 the qualifier is Washougal.

They have an A, B, and C class and will adjust your class over a three week qualifying period. I signed up for B

I haven’t played an MX vs ATV game in a long time. Will I be disappointed if I buy it now? I’ve been hitting the Milestone games pretty hard.

I mean, for 10$ you can get this game. 17$ if you want 2 of the 3 (available, there were 4) DLC.

@gnarwhip I know right? they did such a good job with the scaling on the Slash SX, Goat farm SX, and Arenacross

Does anyone known if they next version of the game will already have all the national tracks on it? Or will you have to download them? Was hoping they come as part of the game for the next version.

Where do you find it for $10/$17? It’s still $49.99 on the PlayStation store.

Anyone have any set up tips for someone who just picked this up. I’ve played for a before and just dusted it off so it’s been awhile. Also, is there a real manufacturers bike that’s better than the others?

MXOsports has some on their instagram

Here are my links to my tunes:
- More slowed down/closer to realistically paced: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONBiSNua024
- My competitive tune starter kit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YKr5pIjes0

I actually made some major tweaks to the 125 tune, I plan on making a video for that as well

Thank you. Just trying to calm the bike down and stop it from bouncing so much.

@Orange_44 or any newcomer, the remedy for bouncing is to let off the gas entirely, do not touch the sticks, and just let the game take over. When it all settles down, and you are on a flat, get back on the throttle. At times it is unavoidable, but you can take measures to prevent it. Such measures include paying close attention to your entry speed into turns/ruts, USE YOUR BRAKES, pay attention to every rut and breaking bump and if you can, avoid the breaking bumps entirely. Now there are times you can tire tap, nose bonk, or straight up jump over/double breaking bumps, or even use them to your advantage to slow down. This game is the Chinese finger trap of all games, the you resist, the more the game fights back.

Thank you. Seems like the minute you try too hard it starts to buck. Go slower to go faster.

Man I should've tried on PS4 at Washougal. My time is 2:05:27. How do they decide where the cutoff is for each class? I set that time probably 4-5 months ago. Picked up the controller today and only was able to manage a 2:12. Need to remember how to get the bike to stop bouncing around.

That's one thing I really hope they adjust on the next game. The bike needs to feel more grounded. You shouldn't be losing speed on a straight away because the bike is bouncing around like a giant set of double D's on a trampoline. That's realistically my only complaint about this game.

What I don’t understand about All Out, is instead of having all this tuning bullshit to make the game fun and worth playing, which I think drives a lot of people off, why not make the game PLAY like that right off the bat?

Make the bikes fun to ride and all that from the get go instead of forcing the player to do all this tuning and stuff. I could see if it was a sim, but it’s not...

Give us a good base tune, and let the player tune it to their liking to the way they like to ride.

Hopefully they do this for their next game. I agree completely and I think that the current set up is one of the reasons some guys hate this game.

Tuning in this game is almost a physics changer. If the bike isn’t tuned correctly it is more frustrating than fun. Once you have the tuning set up right it’s a completely different game.

First impressions are everything. Having to rank up to good physics is a waste of time for everybody involved.

Alive was much worse IMO than All Out in that aspect.

But yeah. Still very frustrating. Reflex actually went in the opposite direction, where the tuning and upgrades literally made no difference. The stock starter bikes were 100% the same as fully upgraded, tuned bikes.

I wish they could find a sweet spot where starter bikes are good enough to go fast on and have fun with, but where grinding for the upgrades and finding a good tune is beneficial and worth it too, but not game-breaking.

And it was a bad first impression for me when the game came out.

I just put an hour into the game today and followed the guys video above “fun” tune setup and I actually did have a lot of fun! I almost want to buy the National Tracks lol.

And I wish there was modding like there was on Reflex for PC. That’s my other request Cool
