Seeing these photos makes me want to mention how I've always thought those Ti-4 mufflers are still my favorite looking over anything current, even the nice carbon end cap stuff out nowadays.

How competitive would his bike be today? How much did that thing weigh?

Crazy the 450 is near 20 years old now.

Those mufflers were beauty’s. I loved how short PC made these mufflers and how short they were on the PC 250 team.

MXA April 2020 has a retro test of Stew's KX450F. You can access the digital copy free through their website currently.

Not to hijack the thread, but what was the deal with Stew and Monster/RedBull?

The Monster Kawi is way over done IMO.
Look at a photo of a 2007 team bike up against a photo of A 2020 team bike- that’s 13 years of looking the same. It needs a fresh look.

Eli is my guy and the new bikes look good, but they don't look as good as Stew's bike or the PC KX250f's of that era. Just something about those "older" kawi's.

Only real side-ons I have, no static pit pics At least gives you the rear fender graphics 🤷‍♂️

Interesting thing about that picture is if my memory is working, seems like I remember Stewart would always get critiqued for not having his fingers on the clutch.

This make me wonder how JS7’s career would have played out if he and Kawasaki stayed on the train they had been on over the years.

I'm a little tired of seeing monster logo's personally. That 06' factory look was so clean.

What year bike is this one? It was a display bike for the International Motorcycle Show when it passed through Houston back in November of 2007.

Notice the clutch /hot start lever perch? Trick stuff. Even tricker??? Notice the zip tie/fuel hose support to keep the hot start cable in place. Details...
