Well not the way I wanted to start the year off!!! After 8 hours at Loma Linda ER I am home and feeling the worst pain I have ever been in in my LIFE!!! So the injury list reads as this: Fractured left elbow, possible wrist, both collarbones seperated from my sternum, bruised sternum, whiplash and a seperated right shoulder. I have no idea how all this happened at the speed I was going so it must have been a solid fall. I will see my personal Doc on Tuesday to get further evaluated and see where we sit for recovery. Thanks for all the well wishes and support guys and gals, I WILL BE BACK better and stronger!!

Wow sorry to hear that SH32 at least you were in a better hospital than me I had to go to Riverside county ... about that sternum separation they told me the exact thing happened to me when I crashed 3 months ago so im still having problems and went to see a third DR turns out I broke my sternum in half just below where the clooar bone's meet ....amazing I asked the DR's in the hospital (at the time) over and over to double check my back and they said nothing was wrong Friday I JUST found out it has been broken for 3 months... kwwp getting numbing sensations I just hope no permanent damage has been done

Sean I broke my elbow really bad at the Mammoth mototcross back in 2000. I fractured the humerus and ulna and had a lot of bone fragments floating around, so after a 4 hour surgery, they plated the humerus with 8 screws and insterted two small pins in the ulna with some wire. Following the surgery, I was in a soft cast and the tendons and ligaments tightened up quite a bit, and I had very little range of movement... but after physical therapy, my arm was back to 95%...I still can't straighten it all the way and it makes some gnarly popping sounds every now an then, but I have virtually no pain at all, and the only time it gets sore is if I go to the gym and do a gnarly bicep workout. So if your break was anything like mine, your elbow should make a solid recovery.

Like I said I will find out more tomorrow after seeing my personal Doctor and then give you all an update!! Thanks again boys and girls

So many guys wonder the same...
Ask Nate Ramsey, how it feels to tumble down St. Helen's.
It was one of the worst crashes I have seen. He, and I, chatted about the crash, that he still does not remember.

Well I got to the Doc today and found out that I dont require any surgery!!! Big sigh of relief I can tell you!! So I do have some small fractures in my radius and ulna that lead into my elbow, a good knock on the wrist that has it pretty swollen, both collarbones are slightly separated from my sternum, bruised sternum and a grade 2 AC separation of my right shoulder. I know the list seems pretty big but I am thankful that I am still able to walk and got away with "MINOR" injuries!! Thanks again to all of you guys for your unconditional support for me and the well wishes!! See you at the races soon, back better and stronger!!

Holy friggen upper extremity injuries batman! Though all are "minor" lol. Ah motocross, gotta love it.

I did my elbow 8 years ago. Still clicks and pops and gets stuck sometimes, but it's nearly as good as new. Same story separating my collar bone. You'll be able to bend like gumby soon!
