Can't see Loretta's happening this year.

DC won’t cancel Loretta’s. This is madness. Just implement a 6 foot rule. And timed laps. Too easy. Ah hell let’s all draw spoons like we did when there was a monsoon.

....day in the dirt was insane (sarcasm) for racing this past weekend. It literally infected me with “holy shit that looked like the most fun riding a Grand Prix” ever.....

Can’t wait until this is all over.

I didn’t know who he was, so had to look up his credentials, etc.

He certainly appears to be as much of an expert on a topic like this as you could possibly find.

I read somewhere that viruses are less “strong” (insert proper technical term there) as humidity rises, Our most humid days here probably are “dryer” than the least there, though, and the Seattle area is fairly humid always so who knows if it’s true. Probably only a small factor and the closeness factor of people probably overrides any weather related factor.

Surprised MXSports has made some kind of statement yet. I know a lot of these tracks rely on their area qualifier that supports their financial backing the rest of the year.

Looks like mxsports doesn't need to say anything it's up to the state government on what's going to happen to the qualifying.

If they can’t run regionals how can they run the race?

I have to say that although I do not buy into some of what he is saying, I am convinced of one thing. The Global Market System as we have it is not a good thing. It is in our best interest to keep things local, everywhere.

Who says they can’t run regionals ? Worse case scenario they run qualifiers at the regional.....? This virus will be long gone by summer. Everyone needs to seriously chill.

In Tennessee the governor banned sports a few years ago because of heat during the week of Loretta’s for a couple days or so I remember correctly. And Loretta’s still raced...hopefully this virus crap is no different.

This whole system is more fragile than we think, grow a garden, get your neighbors to garden, the threat of going hungry could cause a lot of people to do some crazy things...

You will be fortunate if you get to Loretta's in 2021 champ.

Wake up to what is happening.

Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns and in accordance with government recommendations regarding large group gatherings, the 2020 Loretta Lynn Area Qualifiers are postponed through the end of March.

A mild virus? Look at what’s happening in Italy, look at their mortality rate. Did your government really just shut down all travel from Europe for a mild virus?

Im not saying it’s the end of the world, the world will keep turning, and at some point we will return to where we were 3 months ago.
But if you don’t see that there will be some serious issues along the way you are on glue.

Think about what that travel ban alone does to economies, just look at the stock market now.
I agree lots of people will make money on shorts and by buying at the bottom. But we are nowhere near the bottom

Time will tell, a vital thread will not

You are spreading so much false information your posts should he deleted.

And yes, temprature has everything to do with it. EVERYTHING. Read something.

I'm stunned at the amount of abject bullshit being thrown around as fact. Highly irresponsible and immoral. We'll remember the panic stricken fools and the dealers of bullshit and fear mongering and your credibility is shot. Forever.

Alright, What false information have I spread?
It is spreading, it does have a much higher death rate than the common flu, it is killing a lot of people in Europe, and whilst you can say temperature “has everything to do with it, EVERYTHING. Read something”
How can you argue that it is spreading in warm climates? That’s a fact.
I live in a warm climate and it’s spreading.

The truth is I obviously am not an expert on this stuff (clearly neither are you) therefore I have chosen to believe the experts, everything I have said is inline with respected scientists, the WHO and the CDC.
Hey Dimetime,

I’m still waiting on you to tell me about all the false information I am spreading.
Are you saying this is just a mild virus? Are you saying that summer will kill this thing?
Come on pal, if you are going to accuse someone of spreading bullshit, at least tell me what I have said that is wrong.
