If I`m not mistaken, this is the best start of the season ever for Tomac. He`s really good starting from 1/3 of the season.

Webb had some issues at the start of the season with being sick. He seems back to form and that's great because it's one more rider in the mix to make the season exciting and unpredictable. I'm all for a Webb (and AC) win in the next few rounds.

I still believe anyone who wants the title will have to beat Webb, Tomac will give him those points back at some point. Roczen is surprising, if he doesn't have damage from tonight he could give Cooper a fight. I thought AC would be a factor but that doesn't seem to be happening.

I question Acs fitness on the 450. Looks tired late in the motos. He trains with Kenny who was “sick all week” but I’m strating to wonder about him as well. Baker factory for the win. Did Anderson leave the factory and start riding on the west coast as well? Hasn’t been the same if you ask me....

I think AC will only get better. This is a learning season for him on 450’s. 21-22’ he will be legit.

I totally agree but I think maybe training with Tomac would help him?

No, I think what him and roczen are doing is for sure working.

Jason is still under Aldon Baker programme, but Training by himself on the west coast.

So last weekend when KR dominated 3 motos, was he on the Aldon program then?

Maybe Webb just have some juice over for the last laps just because he is so damn slow the first half of the motos..

Webb is in a position at this point that is just as good as last year at this point, and that's after a case of strept and flu. That dude is a warrior and only gets better under pressure. The last 8 laps of the race tonight, he was straight up ripping and made up over 4 seconds on Tomac.....while blitzing past AC and bitching Roczen again in the last turn of the last lap. I dont see anything that tells me he's worried, lacking confidence, or lacking speed. The speed at which he was riding and the ground he was gaining on such elite riders those last 7 or 8 laps is incredible.
Webb is consistently a damn good starter. He generally gets stronger through the moto, and stronger the more jacked up the track gets. So much talk about the battle between Tomac and Roczen for this title as if Webb is a non factor lol. The dude was sick, so he had that one poor result and not totally healthy even in the other races. Now that he's healthy its gonna be a different story and tonight was proof.
From what I saw last year and even what I've seen this year, if anyone takes the title from Webb, they are gonna have one hell of a battle on their hands because Webb fights damn hard to the end and will fight even harder when it gets more critical. He's gonna be lethal on east coast tracks, and has proven to be better the more pressure he's under. Tomac doesnt have that history and has caved when the pressure was high. More than once. I'm not saying that will happen again, just saying it's happened more than once before. Webb gets better under pressure and that's dangerous to Tomac. Roczen got mentally murdered by Webb last year, and he's vulnerable to it again. It may have happened again tonight.
I think the only one who can take the title from Webb if Webb stays healthy is Tomac, because he possesses such insane speed. But....he better bring that speed consistently, get decent starts consistently, and stay off the ground. Otherwise, Webb will catch him in points and pull away by round 17. JUST LIKE LAST YEAR. Time will.tell if Tomac can do that, but at this point I'd put my money on Webb. Even if he is a little down in points to Tomac and Roczen. Just my thoughts after what I saw tonight. Awesome racing tonjgbt from start to finish. From 1st place through 12th place. Incredible. I'm enjoying this season more than any season before.

It didn’t happen last night because he almost broke his back last week and didn’t ride all week.
AC passed Webb multiple times last week and has been solid in top 5 at all races.
He will be a factor !

What he needed was Kenny and AC to slow down otherwise its a other round without a podium.

Be interesting to see how the season goes but i feel for Kenny, he just keeps allowing webb to get him at the line.

Calm down dude and check the lap times- Webb wasn't magically getting faster than everyone else, they were slowing down. Webb actually lost a little pace himself the last few laps, but while he only slowed a second or so, Tomac and Roczen slowed several seconds.
That four seconds on the last lap you say Webb gained on Tomac; you don't think Eli was just cruising to bring it home?

Tomac when he’s feeling it is just on a different level than everyone else. Tonight was again one of those nights. Getting 2nd on those nights is a great ride. That last turn pass should ignite a spark. I think we will see Webb start making a run here. If (and I know we say this every season) Tomac has figured things out though then it might be trouble for everyone else. Webb won’t go down quietly though I can promise you that. Yes it was the 250 class, but he’s the only rider out there who has successfully defended a SX Championship. He’s been there and done that with an entire year of the 1 plate on him. As they always say it’s much harder to defend than it is to win it the first time.

Ralph shehim comment about roger sitting webb down and asking if he was wasting his time seemed very harsh out of character of roger. Webb was sick he can't control that. But maybe roger knows webb so well he knew that was exactly what webb needed to hear to get him going. Great ride by webb last night. Now he needs to start that charge at half way instead of last lap.

Wonder if Coop pulled a Kirk Cousins on Roger when he saw him after the race...”You like that?!’

Uh, no, it is not out of character for Roger. He told Pastrana to quit screwing around and focus, he told Dungey to quit whining about the bike, he told Tickle to pack his bags, and he told Marvin the clock is ticking. Back when he was winning all his championships, Roger, by his own admission, used to wait until the last ten minutes of those horribly grueling 45-minute motos and then charge to the front and win, because doing that proved to be the most effective way of breaking the will of his competition. Roger sees in Webb what he saw in Carmichael, which is a guy who rides with an obvious contempt for finishing behind whoever is in front of him - because that's exactly what he was back-when.

Webb is starting to pick it up, and within a race or two will go on a win streak of his own; therefore closing the points gap, and making the racing even more interesting. It's going to be a good season for fans.
