There are some very big philosophical issues we are gonna be facing in the near Future.
I have wondered this and I seriously think it's true now.
That Elon Musk is already a cyborg.
People will have their brain Connected to the internet within 10 years. And if you don't want it you will be a dummy
compared to the rest of the world.
Pretty crazy future coming Sooner than later it sounds like.
Love to hear your thoughts on this.

Haha I changed it to what it was supposed to say before the smart phone changed it.
But this is pretty crazy if all that they are saying is true and it sounds like they are. Very big changes coming, whole different life really. Enjoy Driving a car now while you still can because it sounds like that will be going away amongst other things.

I hear ya, that is some crazy stuff.
I actually read a book about 10 years ago
That was written by a group of scientists and it said A LOT of the same things but they sounded more far fetched then.
Now a lot of what the book said has or is coming true.
Even then the book said everyone would have a device that they carry with them at all times that does it all .
And a few other things.
In the book it says next will be contacts or glasses .
That can connect online and you can do a bunch of different stuff with. And then a little farther into the future it says that we will all have a robot.
And that we can use an advanced pair of glasses or contacts to control the robot and basically be the robot.
Almost like it's an avatar.
But basically you could be sitting on the couch send your robot to the store to pick up a few things. (If there even is a store)
And once he gets there you put the glasses on and see what he see's
Or you could send your robot to a Supercross race.
And put on the glasses and walk around .
While your actually at home naked sitting on your couch.
Just a few examples.
The book was actually a little scary in some parts. It went about 100 years into the future.
It also said however fast you think the tech is coming times it by 20.
They are saying it's all coming fast.

I watched the 60 satellites go across the pre sunrise sky a few weeks back. I think it takes 24 thousand to set up the network and they aren't in geosynchronous orbit so they have propellant on board for periodic adjustment?

By the time 24 k get up there the technology will be surpassed by something else it seems to me and who takes care of that mess then? Lots of space junk

I think elon is a snake oil salesman ,smart,no doubt

Lol. If a small village has a well of the sweetest water...all it takes is one idiot to shit in it and ruin it for everyone. This big blue marble is just a huge village...with too many idiots. And they all seem to have diarrhea. I've had the shits too many times myself.

Go watch the movie Surrogates with Bruce Willis. It’s the exact thing you’re reffing to about the robots.

HB....Elon's plan is to put up 60K satellites , and connect the entire world with internet , no matter where you are at. You'll only need a some what clear reception area. I see it as a good thing , and also , possibly a bad thing. I think his plan is to take over the air waves , before someone like google , Amazon , ect do it. I do know.......guy's like us , won't be living in the same world in 20 years from now. Which is perfect timing , because I hope to be dead in 30.

Technology will be the downfall of mankind. Sure, it's great now, but it's going to get to the point of no return. Cyber criminals will be able to do anything the want. Look how bad it is already with identity theft. That's just one small example. I'm not looking forward to it. More reason to go off grid somewhere in the mountains when I retire.

They were supposed to send 60 more up tomorrow but it's being delayed due to weather. No firm date yet. Also, they are going to start offering service with a much lower number. I forget the exact number but seem to recall in like the 1400 range. That will be enough to get started with US and southern Canada. As they blast more Satellites up they'll get broader coverage and higher bandwidth.

AI and robots will be the downfall of humanity I can't believe these Geniuses can't see the writing on the wall.

Yeah it sucks getting old but I am so glad I lived in the era I did. Especially when it comes to motorcycles and no high tech gadgets.

Youth these days walking around like freaking zombies staring at the cell phones.

It's sad man. Kids can't think for themselves anymore. Technology has created the need for instant gratification. It's why all the college and high school kids are full of anxiety and OCD. They're not prepared for the real world. This is just the beginning. I was at the end of the smartphone era when I was growing up so I can remember what it was like without all this BS. It's definitely not beneficial.

It'll be a sad day when the wrench slips and my brain auto-corrects to "DUCKING SHUT!"

I listened to the whole thing, understood very little, but just enough to scare the crap out of me.

Not to get into religion, but this truly sounds like end of times stuff to me.

Yeah it truly does , I'm not religious my wife is. But even the guys in the video seem to question that. And mention the mark of the beast stuff. .that arm chip seems to be coming without a doubt.
As well as the optional brain chips.
Which it sounds like Elon already has so I'm pretty sure that would make him a cyborg right ?

We weren't meant to be immortal. If we go down that road, that comes with more negative than good.

In general most tech evangelists like that have lots of interests in the industry so everything is always going to change everything and be a revolution.
