One can make 5-6% return on investment in real estate all day long on either coast, plus appreciation on the value of the property. 5.5% on $3M in rental properties owned outright is $165K per year. That's a damn good life, especially if you don't have any debt. I don't know what Barcia has saved up, but I'd bet its in the $3M-$5M. He's made a good living riding dirt bikes.

I reckon you’d need a head start just to catch barcias cold at the moment!

Barcia is good with Yamaha for next year.

I’m not even convinced Ferrandis will go Yamaha in the 450s. Someone like KTM might snatch him up.

Wouldn't be surprised to see 2021 Factory Yamaha be Ferrandis and Barcia. Especially if Justin keeps riding the way he is. Plessinger has a lot of work to do.
You have to think Plessinger is out unless he lights it up outdoors. And honestly, there's nothing to indicate that he has what it takes to make that happen.

Y'all could very well be correct. However, it is interesting to me that people are giving up on a rider who in their rookie year had the best average finish of rookies until he had a bad get off that resulted in a serious injury.

Lackluster, sure. But to think he is done with the team 2 rounds into 2020, having improved week over week by 2 spots to a top 10 finish, could be a little premature.

Two big blue pigs in the top ten is pretty OK IMO.

Just sayin...

Apparent as good as done. Harris and RDC want DF as Marv's career trajectory steepens.

Nothing wrong with him. He just might not be getting along with the Yamaha 450. Not everyone does. Barcia and Plessinger are both on their last year of contract. Currently Barcia has the edge and it's only logical to believe that Yamaha would retain his services over Plessinger.

I could see Plessinger moving to the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC KTM team to replace Bogle if he's on a 1 year deal or perhaps even JGR if they switch over to GasGas. Either way, both those teams would have proven bikes.

I don't think he'll be privateering it in 2021.

Slick track and everyone in front of him has had a bad race. Top 5 next weekend.

Won’t happen. Kid is mental. Rides like tonight cause rides like this the next weekend and then the next thing you know, you stop hearing his name during the race and just seeing it.

I'll given him a pass because he was sick and maybe he was still a bit sick at A2. Glendale is going to be huge though, he has to come through with a solid ride in the top 5. He does not have to win or podium, but he has to be in the battles. If he looks like he did today, then it's not good. Also concerning, today the track was harder than either A1 or St Louis. Glendale is usually very hardpack. Curious to see if the bike is working on the hard stuff as well.

He needs to be up front next weekend. I’d just like to see the kid consistently running up front. If it doesn’t happen this year, I don’t see Yamaha retaining him. Yamaha will have Ferrandis and someone else next year as Plessinger isn’t setting anything on fire either.
