That would make a lot of sense. I've said it before, it's a good structure with an owner putting in a lot of effort and money, and if kawi doesnt step up imo another factory should try to sign them as factory squad.

Age limites sucks, but if you make a big difference between the price money in MX2 and MXGP, riders would leap from one class to the other automatically when they think they are ready for it. But oh wait there isn't price money on the line.

A salary cap is also a possibility, but that isn't really 100% controllable because then you could start paying riders in brown envelopes under the desk, cash.

I just listened to that too. I think Alex Martin is the only contracted rider for Suzuki/JGR in 2020, so maybe Max was in line for a second 250 spot? I can't see him coming back over and starting out in the premier class after not riding SX since 2012.

Be very good to see him go over there. He’s definitely no slouch at SX and probably a race winner outdoors if he’s on a 250

But why keep an age limit if its 28?
I just dont see the use of it.
Was there any use of it in the first place?
It forced riders into an undersubscribed 450 class.

I’m exited to see how he does. He has the talent and speed, just needs to put it all together. Hopefully he can take it easy and dosen’t rush it and he will battle for titles in a couple of years.

The good news is that he has a two year deal. So even if he struggles in 2020 he will still have another full year to hopefully prove himself

i think that Moreau is gonna probably struggle first year. few top15s would be solid. Brandon Hartranft is gonna be the #1 rider in the team. He looked solid last year but is he really due to be #1 in "factory" KTM team? TLD roster just looks weak on paper this year.

... given he doesn't get a mystery sickness, has a car crash or dies ...

Didn't think I had to add that.

I would honestly expect him to be a solid top 10 rider. Sure there will be some tough races and he will have his struggles, but a normal race he should be top 10 imo.

He is really talented and has a great style. Enough to make me pick him in my mxmanager-team... I always regretted picking him after, but I can’t blame TLD to take a chance on him lol

He needs to first and foremost stop crashing. Even on GP weekends where he had speed to maybe even get a top 5 finish he could finish with a handful of points.

This was just a training weekend at Strijbos' birththown (Wuustwezel, hosted GP's in the 80s), Vermeeren is the local Honda-dealer. Nothing more.

Without local dealers no Lupino, no Van Horebeek,... 🤔

At an advanced stage with a KTM and Kawasaki team I believe.

Gebben Van Venrooy have also parted ways with Kawasaki. A new manufacturer will be announced soon

Allright, my guess is Dixon and ...?

Someone in this topic said Gebben would be Yamaha. Would be solid as we have 2 teams combined in 1 (Wilvo and Rinaldi), so would be as a satelite yamaha team.

So few seats open for a few teams

JM Racing Honda (?) - 2 riders?
Gebben (Yamaha) - 2/3 riders
Dixon - MX2/MXGP

Some riders that aren’t confirmed: Anstie, Vlaanderen, Sterry, Walsh (!), Ostlund, Butron, Strijbos, Brylakov
