Would it be nice to have 6D Dealer near you?

Just curious. I know a lot of people know what size helmet they where and just buy online, but still curious if people would like to see them at a local dealer.

Who would like 6D dealer near you or no?

A manufacturer has to decide for themselves how they are going to distribute their product. If they are going to sell the product themselves online they get all the money.
If they are going to sell thru local motorcycle shops they have to give up at least half of the money if not more. They would have to leave room for the Distributor to purchase the product from them and then leave room for the shop to make money too.
If it’s a small quantity of sales keep it all in house, if it’s a lot of product sold let the stores sell it.

At 60 I’m part of the group that has always gone to a place to purchase however I’m slowly converting. I ordered my 6d from their site and it was as described and size chart was accurate. They also offer the option to send it back.

IMO no need for a store.

My local dealer is a Dealer for 6D, I bought my helmet from him, I make sure to make some purchase from him throughout the year, I want him to stay open....

My local dealers tell me to just order stuff online.. They don't want to do nothing but sell a UTV.s

I've been told the exact same thing at 2 of mine here. They have UTV's crammed in every inch of their showroom, zero interest in 2 wheel anything. I used to stop by pretty regular and always grab something, even if it were small items I use around the shop. But in the last year, unless it's an OEM item, they just highly recommend going online elsewhere. I've spent less than 300 bucks this year at the shop, and I use to easily do that in a month or so. They just don't wanna mess with 2 wheel stuff anymore around here. Sad....

That seems to be how it is everywhere unless the shop owners are dirt bike enthusiasts.

So I work at a dealer that sells 6D helmets, we order direct through 6D, to my knowledge there is no distributor for them. If a dealer stocks them they buy them direct. At least to my knowledge. The shop I work at always will try and beat any price that is legitimate site as far as price goes, too.

You are right, they only sell direct to the dealer.
