SXoNs. You think they will bite?

With a capacity of 99,354, Camp Nou is the third biggest soccer stadium worldwide. It is located in Barcelona, Spain and serves as the home stadium of FC Barcelona. Camp Nou was completed in 1957 when it became the biggest stadium in Europe.

There's no way BCN FC allows a track built in it's field.

There’s no way the Euro’s are going to dedicate as much time that is needed testing and practicing SX riding. The ones that DO want to try come over here.

How would they get the dirt in there? That place doesn’t look like it was built to host monster jam. Unless it was dumped by helicopter, my guess is the infrastructure doesn’t exist in that venue to get dirt and heavy machinery in there.

Yes. Euros are core MX riders. The ones that want to persue a serious SX career and race against the best (in this discipline) go to the USA.

The ideal would be for Europe to run a similar schedule as the states. SX in Europe whilst the American SX is running then both sides swop to MX for their respective series and when thats done everyone meets for the MX and SX Des Nations.

Far fetched...and it wont happen.

Why would that be ideal?

-All around the globe there are MX tracks
- Only USA has legit SX facilities
- USA has top notch MX facilities also

So the ideal even field discipline is MX.

USA has decided to put more emphasis on SX and that's ok, they dedicate only four months to MX, and the results show when they line up against euros.

But why americans think that now all the world has to embrace SX for an SXoN, to prove the obvious? Yes USA will dominate (followed by france is second place).

USA racers are no less for not winning MXdN and euros are not better for winning it.

(Enter sport name here) of Nations.

Maybe we could get a bunch of Motocross racers to participate..? What do you reckon??

Having seen the way the pitches are looked after and worshiped, there is no chance they would allow an SX track anywhere near the place.

It has taken Luongo over 10 years to constantly beat USA in the MXON and so on, call his riders the best in the world.
You think he will accept a sxon to see his riders getting beaten by americans again?

It would be a boring event, considering the world doesn't focus on SX nearly as much as the US does.

Maybe they should make it a Freestyle of Nations.
Herlings and Tomac head to head who has the sickest backflips and 360s.
Call each other bro's.

SX may be great in the US, but if you look at the entire world, I don't think anyone really cares about SX for the most part.. I even think most of the fans of the sport in the US could care less if SX went away.

"Most of the fans of the sport in the US" would not be accurate. If there wasn't interest, it wouldn't exist.

Exactly. You think 40-60,000 people just decide they want to go to the stadium and check out them motorsickles doing the motorcross racin' every Saturday? There's a huge fan base for Supercross, otherwise Feld wouldn't do it.

What would a SXoN prove though?

Fuckin, we see what having to split your focus 60:40 and riding more varied terrain does.

What happens when you literally have never ridden it?

Dead in the water right there, why the fuck would they ride it. It's not like they've been queuing up to do the Monster Cup and it's not a real SX and has a huge payout as stinky bait.

There´s no way Camp Nou´s floor space is big enough. Angel Stadium floor space is like x1.5 of that of Camp Nou.

Enlighten us as to what Luongo is doing to allow European riders it be americans? GO!

They would probably make it a fake SX track with no whoops and all sand Laughing Laughing then say they didn’t add sand. Might even water the track for a week straight so it’s nice and wet. In all seriousness if a real SX track was built no other country besides America would go. They would end up hurt or lapped a bunch

I’m willing to bet that Feld’s marketing model is a little better than your ’I know people who know people.’
