Did not have South Africa down for qualifying. Great ride for Vercueil in the last race

Many on here said Justin Cooper was the weak link and his spot should have gone to Barcia or a different rider.

It’s understandable though. Sometimes you win and feel great doing it, sometimes you feel like you didn’t ride all that well. I had that a few weeks ago. First race in 3 1/2 years and went 2-1, but my riding felt terrible.
True, but Vet Beginner doesn't count lol Grinning jk Bro, glad you got back behind the gate!

he had a good race ,steady laptimes and looked to be on cruise control settling for 3rd ..
3rd makes second gatepick , he could have spent a lot of energy trying to beat the others for first gatepick ?? first or second doesnt make that much of a difference in my opinion

tomorrow is when it counts
You probably right.

Your Belgium team put in good work today.

Who wouldve thought Herlings' result would be the one to get scrapped.

Tixier passed Osborne ... never would have expected that to happen , to me Osborne would be the best of the 3 on this track but his pace is a bit off .. this class isnt stacked , not many top hitters so he should be top 3 at least ..maybe has a problem .. we probably get to know in next minutes from some experts on here
Haven't you realized (yet) that the MXdN is a Team race? The 3rd race had no pressure on either top 3 Teams (Belgium, Netherlands and USA). With 7 pts, and Osborne 13th (or something) in the first lap, what would be the point of pushing too hard (again, it's a Team race. Did I say that already). Saving energy (for tomorrow), not making anything stupid and crashing was the right strategy ... who cares if Tixier passed him for 8th to 7th ... now it's game on for tomorrow when it counts.

good call Wink yet again , its only a qualifier and he didnt have to as team USA already had 2 good results
raceday will show who has what speed ... looking forward to sunday , hope it doesnt rain as much as the forecast mentioned , but track will hold on and should be no issue and make for good racing

Belgium looks good dude , hope they make it to podium ..

Yep he was seriously impressive. If USA do get on the podium or even win it'll be down to him.

IF Zach couldn't get to the front there is no point wasting energy. USA was locked into the 3rd spot so he was just cruising.

Sad to say but can’t see Paulin wearing the #1 on his MXdN jersey next year, the streak is starting to fade

USA made the right call putting Anderson in MXGP and not Osborne. 7th by no means a disastrous result, but that wasn’t a good ride at all. Took him a good few laps to catch and pass Bastian Bogh Damm who is on a 250, and Tixier was behind him, crashed, and then got up and caught and passed him.

There didn’t appear to be any issue to me, he kept his goggles on the entire moto and they looked okay. I’m just going off how he looked on the bike, he looked terrible in all honesty, and the fact that he was a minute and a half down in a 20 minute race would kinda prove that. His fastest lap was 7 seconds off what Jonass and Strijbos managed

So does Cooper get 23rd gate pick both motos?

The team chooses which of the 2 riders goes 3rd & 23rd.

I made a post asking why we don’t drop a 450 rider like Barcia down a class but didn’t say Cooper was the wrong choice. I don’t think Tomac, Cianciarulo, Cooper Webb or anyone else would have guaranteed greater success here and I’m psyched about these guys.

Team call. He could get the 3rd gate, he could get the 23rd. He might get a moto of each.

Given that the 250 rider can win or lose you the event, most teams tend to put the rider on the 250 up the inside. So, I wouldn't be surprised to see Cooper take the 3rd gate each moto tomorrow.

I like Osborne. Always have done from his time in England, hope he does well. But he won’t be happy with that, he looked really uncomfortable the entire race

I looked up from the lathe I was turning a job on. to see Jonas rip a corner, standing up at warp factor 11. My jaw hit the tool post..... it was a 'rail', worthy of Everts.

I also caught Strjbos just before the start say something like his team "kicked him out" after the last GP. For him to get the Wilvo (?) bike - that's worked out pretty good for him. I do hope he does well tomorrow and stays in the GPs.

The OZ youngsters, who, I confess, I know absolutely buggerall about, did well, as did Ferris.

Justin Cooper was great. Something to reflect on : if he was in the GPs, he'd have just one season left on 250s. Fuggin' Giuseppe is a twat, of epic proportions.
