He has world class speed, needs some world class good luck. He's a former champ, I think he can win the whole thing, just needs a little luck and some good mental fortitude.

Not quite the behemoth as years past. From seeing him workout with Swane's guys, he looks to be in fantastic shape, the best he's ever been in probably. He's got that Stewart whoop speed which we witnessed before his crash. Also given he's on a team and can focus on racing. I personally believe he can be top 10 every weekend no problem and fighting for top 5s while cracking the podium once or twice. Realistically...that's IF he can finish a season. I hope to see him do well and I'm just excited to see him back, go Mookie.

I don't think it is unreasonable to expect those 8 guys to beat Mookie on a fairly regular basis. Plus there are other guys on a level similar to Mookie like Deano, Baggett, Brayton.

Tough competition. Hope he stays healthy!
Did you not see him in 2019? He was as fast as anyone there...but a Stew is gonna Stew...

I saw him riding at Milestone last week, and he looked good. It was just a chance to settle in and get reacquainted with Milestone and his new bike, but he looked trim and was in a good mood. I was just stoked to see him back on a bike. The last time I'd seen that was in Glendale before he crashed.

It's always a plus to have Mookie out there- lots of personality and 100% on the bike at all times.

Don’t see how people can thumbs down this. He hasn’t shown anything worthier is him being classed any higher. 1-6 are all title contenders. Him not so much based on past results

I don’t either. I think mostly everyone wants to be proven wrong but let’s be honest here. He hasn’t shown in any way, shape or form that he can roll with the top dogs on a consistent basis.

You mean except for his 2016 SX Championship? How do you feel about AC and AF with no title, or Cooper before last year? The 450's is just a bunch of the fastest 250 guys moved up, it's not some giant leap. He's in the same graduating class as Joey and Zach and Aaron and Cooper. Some guys take a little longer to get there, he just needs to learn to ride like Dungey and he'll be a contender. He's got to get over the win or crash trying thing his brother taught him.

I think he will struggle early due to a lack of gate drops but will be consistently in the top 5-10 with at least one podium. As posted earlier, it's pretty stacked in 450's as long as everyone gets to A1 in one piece. He's a personality we need in racing.

*2016 250SX championship. He has 3 career wins in 250SX. He's not exactly the second coming of his brother, RC or MC.

Not sure why everyone gets so offended and defensive about this subject. He's a fun, likable kid. He's not a top contender and he doesn't finish the season historically. Until he proves those facts to be inaccurate, it's wishful thinking.

I think Mookie has some heat race wins in him and a main event podium or 2 if he can stay healthy. He's as fast as anyone out there on raw speed so here is to hoping he can put together a full season!! The sport needs him out there.

Don't count me as offended. Forums are for discussion. No one called him the next FMOTP.

Sorry it's a fact he has a Championship, no asterisk required. In my book that is consistently running with the top dogs.

I like Mookie and hope he does well, but that was his only semi consistent season and even that one was pretty wild. I think he will be fighting to get in the top 5 if he can stay healthy.

My bad. I was generalizing, not necessarily you in particular. I'm good with differences of opinion.

He can win a championship but he has to stay off the ground. I truly believe he could.

I just like watching the dude ride, I’d like to see him consistently in the top 10. I think that is much more realistic. Stay off the ground and aim for consistency, it’s a long supercross season.

Gotta love a guy who is always smiling. I just hope the broken leg didn’t get into his head. His biggest strength is his whoop speed. The bigger the better for him. But I’ve heard that if the whoops are too big for Marv Roger D has the power to make the whoops magically smaller after practice. Thus negating Mookies biggest advantage. I’ve never seen anyone hit whoops as fast as Mookie. It would be the coolest thing ever for him to get a win and step out of his brothers shadow once and for all. If he podium once, that would be a win. I got s chance to tell him mom that I’m a Mookie fan I just happened to bump into her literally (long story). If the stars line up he can do it I just hope he learned to make better decisions on the track ride at 98% is better than 104% and being strapped to a back board You can do it !
