Tom Vialle OUT for MXON ????

Unreal stuff happening right now... Red Bull and French Federation not getting along pretty well right now, it seems Renaux will take Vialle's place.

Farming dispute: one wants a rooster on the jersey and helmet while the other one wants two bulls.

They won the last 5 in a row. Seems they give a fuck about winning. Results will tell if they made the right decisions again.

Reneaux is fast as well, might not be that big of a deal in the grand scheme. Talk about a weird situation, though. How many riders has France lost now if this is true? They have an unbelievable pool of talent.

France and USA are leaps and bounds above every other country as far as rider depth. Belgium is amazing as well but age has caught up to them a bit.

Just like Red Bull are easy to operate with........

Sponsors always push for 'more' : Federations push back.

It's a fairly common scenario.

Personally, I reckon Red Bull have got more than their "pound of flesh" out of Vialle this year, and they shouldn't be the reason he doesn't ride for his country.

I can't recall which year it was where the Italian Federation put their foot down about their 'Azzuri' jerseys, and, that perhaps it centered around AC?

There's always a few kerfuffles, I do hope it doesn't stop Fred's boy from representing his country.

i see both sides of this, you don't put your own sponsors on your All Blacks or Wallabies National rugby team jersey,
but then, in that case that the rugby unions are paying all the bills as well, Im not sure how much money the french teams pay to the teams, if anything,

I may prove to be completely wrong, but I don’t think that swapping Vialle for Renaux has a massive effect on the teams result. Renaux is very good and I’ve been impressed with his sand skills this year.

Having said that, what a completely ridiculous situation. I’d like to hope they’ll work this situation out but I’m not holding my breath

France has had put even wilder stuff together putting enduro rider on toofiddy and winning.

I would still bet on them even if Paulin would have to man all three bikes.

true , but favorites dont always win Wink you need a bit of luck to win and have riders that perform at best that day .

i hope they do this time , but France will be up there no matter what riders they put on that list ..
same goes for Team USA .. talent pool is that deep , most teams are glad they got 2 decent riders and France and USA could easily sent 2 teams that could race for podium or wins ..

What a shame... So stupid the FFM and Red Bull can't get to an agreement, and not for the first time if I'm not mistaken.

But, all in all, this doesn't have to be a disaster for Team France. If you compare the results of the races in Valkenswaard and Lommel between Vialle and Renaux, there's not a big difference.

Vialle: 8 -13 - 4 - 4
Renaux: 9 - 12 - 6 - 7

Renaux was a rider for KEMEA Yamaha a couple of years ago in his EMX-days, so I guess he did plenty of laps around sandtracks in Belgium and The Netherlands.

Wow what a wankers at the FFM. And since the federations of Italy (Cairoli) The Netherlands (Herlings and Coldenhoff) and Spain (Prado) never made a point of this, it's to blaim the French federation for the full 100%. Can't believe this shit. Makes me hope for a podium without France!!!!

Without Febvre and Vialle I really don't think they have a shot at winning this thing. Even Switzerland is better in my eyes. Poor Paulin. But they have surprised me before.

Incredible. I wish him to wrap many world titles to make them more respectful. Every other countries don't have issues, and each year there is a big controversy with the french federation.

Who is paying the bills ?... not the FFM... if you want the rider, then you have to allow them to show the people that puy up the $$$ ... FFM have proved time and time again that they are a bunch of asshats.. but thats the french for you, and then add a bit of power and this what you get.
