Looking for some inspiration for a future project. What were some of the best/coolest looking graphics you’ve ever seen on factory bikes, privateer, hell local races. Who were the sponsors? What year? Why did it stand out to you? Anything from classic to current times. I wanna see what everyone thinks.

Most out of the box sponsor I've seen is The Scorpion King. Would love to know how much they paid for that.

Splitfire Kawasaki, peak Honda, Honda of Troy and Yamaha of Troy, Makita Suzuki, Amsoil Honda and for some reason that Yamaha that J-law won his SX title on.

All etched into my brain and 10 year old me would kill for any of these kits on my old 85

Simplicity is key in my opinion. It's a cleaner look as well as perfect color coordination with Primary/Secondary etc.

You beat me to it. The Team ECC bikes are one of my long time favorites. Really flashy and good looking bikes in person.

Yep- totally agree. Even though all my builds are more "vintage" than that, if I did do a later style, this ECC bike would be at the top of the list.

For me this is what I think about when I think about what a motocross bike should be like.

Also, this kit on an RM with gold rims is just as good.

I asked Throttle Jockey how Woody ended up on the bikes, and they told me Honda had a deal with Universal (Disney? Whoever owns these brands..) and they created these one off graphics to promote the movies as they were coming out. Once the partnership ended, Woody came off the bikes. Definitely interesting for sure.

Do you think Honda paid Universal for promotion into the Hollywood seen or do you think Universal paid Honda for the promotion into Motorsports?

Movie Studio paid the the team. How much? That's what a lot of people are curious about.

For Honda to go with black plastics, I'm sure it was a lot of money.

To go fast, you have to slow fast. Is it me, or is the size of the brake rotors look extraordinarily large?
