Hey,

I have recently moved to Westerville, OH and looking to see if there is anyone with any private motocross tracks to ride? I am from southern Ohio and their are a few different private tracks that I was able to ride but the are about 2 to 2.5 hours away now and that would make for a long day making the drive there in back. If anyone does have a private track and are willing to let me ride just send me a email at munion09@gmail.com.

Might want to post your contact info... Not too many people with *private* tracks in an area where there aren't many public tracks will want to post about it on the internet for the world to see.

I had a private track about 50 minutes southeast from you but I let it grow over as I spent more time taking care of it than I did riding it. Now I just load up and pay my $20-25 to ride at a fully prepped track with my fellow riders

Briarcliff has an A/B track as well as a C track. A/B track is around 2/230 minutes long and the C track is about 1 minute depending on skill level.

My problem with Briarcliff is the jumps all have blind landings and they have zero flaggers. I was there last weekend and from the pit area seen two people crash on the same jump within 10 minutes of each other. The second guy got lucky and almost got landed on twice. Other then that the track prep and dirt was awesome. Track had good flow just didn’t like the sketchy jump faces

Yep this is an issue. When i broke my leg last fall i was laying at the bottom of the landing of the big table on the vet track and was damn near death like 20 times till someone ran up to block traffic.

Other than that the dirt is amazing. Love the facility

Yeah the lack of flaggers just makes me feel a bit uncomfortable if something like that should happen. I ride & work at Pusheta Creek MX and every ride day we have 8-12 flaggers setup around the track. Little things like that make a facility that much better

I ride and have raced tracks with out flaggers. Biggest thing is to just keep aware of where people are on the track. In open rides, I don't go out till the crowd gets tired and takes a break.Then I go out for my ride. When the start to come back out , I get off the track.

The trick to open practice at bc is to show up at 2pm. Sessions then, at 4pm open riding, but by 4 everyone is leaving. From 430-5 no one is on the track.

Would really just like to find somewhere to ride today for a little bit. I have never heard of willow creek.

Look up Grear's Motorsports Park in Facebook. They are about an hour from you in Zanesville. Great natural layout and while they only have a main and a mini track, the main track has good visibility (no blind jumps) and wide enough for all skill levels to be on at the same time.

Pusheta's worst problem are the hillbillies cutting the track. I damn near strangled a kid on a CRF150 that had no business in the A/B practice, he decided to come on the track in the 4th gear whoops .
