As long as I keep going slow enough to not wreck, I'll just keep wearing the same gear I have. Bonus is it becomes retro cool at some point!

It seems like all the old guys gravitate to TLD. At least around here. I dunno, I love the stuff.

I would rather support Fasthouse as they were the orginal creators of that design.
Most of your t-shirts looks cool tho.
Well, cant say that they invented that style, and lot's of other brands are running that style as well but, no prob. Run some t-shirts, we'll be stoked...cheers!

What "Style" did Fasthouse create or invent?

You can clearly see a design pattern (image below) by Fasthouse that has been replicated later by another brands. At the end of the day, it's all about trends. If you don't hop into the trends train, you won't sell that much that year unless you start a new trend. Something similar happended with Seven and their slim fit. Also with their unique and game changer designs. This happens in any market, not just moto. I just like to support the ones who make it first.

Another example of a trend in moto can probably be the Supreme thing:

From the streets:

To moto by Fox:

And the latest now, Thor:

Do you guys remember any other trend in moto gear?

Google a brand that made something similar before them and you will answer yourself

It will be at least 2 sets from Shift and probably one O'neill for diversity.

In the past 5+ years i have bought from at least 6 different companies and concluded that:
* the more expensive Fox pants seems to hold up much better
* longer lifetime of the pants doesnt really benefit me because after a while i'd like to put on a new set anyway. After 5 years of riding i still have the fox set, i just use it for mud conditions now.
* One of the more cheaper models is actually the set i like best in terms of feeling and fitment (a shift gearset from their lowest priced range).
*I've stopped looking at the higher priced products since there are enough products in the lower pricerange that work in terms of design, fitment/feeling and endurance for me.
* So i've looked at the lower priced models for the last 3 years and would say i will always look at shift range first and if they have a set that looks decent i will buy that. I really liked Answer but havnt seen a set that i liked in the past 2 years. Never liked O'neill but really liked their 2019 range and same for 2020.
Finally you start to understand it my friend...
How about Yoko pants ( black ) + cheap Tiny van Erp ( TVE ) jersey ( € 20,- )

Fashion industry 101... if you make 7 visible changes its legally no longer colt a copy... this must be a pain in the ass for FOX & Co... within 2 years or so everyone is rocking a similar design at zero R&D cost... this being said FOX is basically the new No Fear ( business model ways ) you us MX/ MTB ( exptreem sports ) as a vehicle to sell casual wear to mainstreet.

My two cents ... those Thor designers have hung around too much in non-moto this off season...
Its ( ultra / spezial ) football / soccer inspired... know your meme 😂 damn influencers these days online 😜 🖕

What's the story behind TrueMX @ChubbyCat113 ?
I first saw Mike McDade wearing it and liked the simple but nice design. I think the company is based around Pittsburgh but the gear really is super comfortable and not too pricey as they are always running specials on it!

FXR Racing gear for sure. I have had something from 90% of the major gear companies out there and no question in my mind, FXR Racing has the most comfortable, least restrictive, and one of the best build qualities I have ever had.

I do LOVE a lot of the retro sets coming out right now. But past experiences with the products coming out of those companies, has made me want the something more that FXR Racing offers with their products.

Personally, I have never had a set of FXR gear fail on me, which I have experienced with sets from several other brands.
Out of all my gear; Thor, Alloy, Alias, Fly, Fox, O'Neal, MSR, No Fear, Answer, AXO, ECT.... My FOX sets from 2009 and my FXR gear have withstood the most punishment, hours AND ARE STILL looking / holding up the absolute best.

I will be in FXR Racing for as long as possible. Even though I don't necessarily NEED new sets every year, I will be getting them. Simply because I LOVE IT!!!!!

I’ll mostly be buying Red Wing work boots, Levi jeans (they hold up the best so far), Carhartt bibs, and local feed mill gloves. That’s about the only gear I have time for anymore.

Don't forget AM Motocross. Made in America. I bought one set of their gear, very impressed with the build quality. Jersey sizing seems to run a bit on the small side.
For what a small sport this is, I am amazed at how many gear mfg's there are, how many lines they carry, and then how many colorways they carry.
