Did anyone listen to pulpmx podcasts as Zach said they are going 3 weeks early which can only be a good thing. Just need to get them up to Tain for some private sand practice👍
Disappointed though with the guys that aren't going, them, their teams, etc. I would have liked to see Webb or Barcia even on a 250 instead of Cooper.
I think it's a pretty strong team but Cooper might be the week link as Plessinger kind of was last year.
I’m not shitting on this team, just stating that it’s not the “dream team”. Some of you get so blinded by patriotism it seems you can’t think rationally. The two fastest guys America has right now aren’t on the team, so please tell me how it couldn’t be better?
Pit Row
Go team USA!
You have 3 choices. Use this as another excuse "if" usa does not win like a sore loser. Root for the riders/companies that are representing our country. Or just go hang yourself. You have options and that's a good thing.
That said, this is also a strong team that will do well. I suspect Cooper might get roughed around in the sand by the sand experts over here but he's surprised me before so who knows.
It's not an excuse, it's simply the truth that this is the best team we could put together with available riders, not the 3 current best American racers. Wherever they finish is wherever they finish, good for them. I already know the shit posts that will be coming with how much better Euros and the GPs are and how America sucks shit at motocross because the racers that were willing to go didn't win in some sandpit.
Here's what I do and will continue to do: Cheer on and support all the guys that are going, not judge the current state of US MX based on this one off season race (especially when America's best aren't even out there) and get frustrated at the dumbasses that aren't able to grasp that simple concept.
Since the FIM controls the usa supercross series I hope they start a SXoN soon also. With the all the foreign riders winning the races in the usa they might win that also.
Ferrandis is chuckling right now:
"I already said that I won't ride the ‘Nations this year. I know this track and you guys [Adam Cianciarulo and Justin Cooper], you are not going to understand what is going to happen. You are going to get passed by guys you never heard of before. It is just a track in The Netherlands that is crazy. It is the biggest sand you can find and I had a long season"
But this is the MXoN... only 3 per nation. We should know the guys doing the passing.
