I'm another one that sucks at the internet but if you're in Alvin Lee fan you should check out The Bluest Blues. Added bonus George Harrison on a slide guitar. Probably the finest track Alvin laid down. Borg can you help me with this?

That's the one. About 2:15 in George Harrison lays down one of the smoothest, tastiest slide solos I've heard. He wasn't known as a guitar God but he had the touch. 4:00 in Alvin takes it home and shows why he was great.

Thanks TX

Recorded in 1969, this song revs me up for anything when I hear it.

That is one cool track. There's no way I could nail down only ONE favorite song. There's just too much good stuff out there. There was a radio show...think it was called, " Desert Island Tracks"...pick your favorite album or 5 tracks you'd want if you were stranded on a deserted island. I couldn't even narrow it down that much.

I never get tired of, "Texas, by Chris Rea". "Nice Man Jack, by John Miles". "Green Grass and High Tides Forever, by the Outlaws". "The Bells of Berlin, by Lone Star". "Fire on the Mountain, Marshall Tucker". "My Old Man, by Ian Dury and the Blockheads". Yes, I know these songs could be linked...by someone smarter than me. If you've got the patience and time...you won't be disappointed.

I’m glad you started another one! Tastes change. I think it’s cool to revisit. My #1 song was always Hotel California but that’s even probably changed for me. Also cool to see some of you still have the same ONE song only!!

You never heard of him? If not, check his channel. It's great. Covers songs in metal.
