Will any action be taken against Reed for his blatant take out attempt? Chisolms's could be a argued, Jlaw's- Helper hit, he says he was coming in too hot, but Reed crosses the track to hit the points leader then admits that it is the only way he had a chance to win the title.! The AMA sucks.

It was a love tap...Reed could have cleaned his clock if he wanted to. But he doesn't roll that way.

Everyone can aurgue to the moon but Reed admitted it. What if he did that and James went down with a carrer ending injury and Reed admits that is the only way he could have won.

It wasn't a love tap. It was a last desperate measure of a complete shitbag of a man. After all the calling out he did at the press conference and how dirty the riding was, he went and pulled a Chisolm x6!

Reed admitted that something would have happened in order for him to win the race. He never said he tried to take James out. If he wanted to make an honest take out attempt it would have been way better then that, or at least he would have tried it several times.

In order for that move to be any form of a "Chisolm" he would have had to be a lap down and not been involved in the championship. Some of you will never get it.

Goride you dont seem to understand Reed attempted to crash points leader, coming completly across the widest part of the track to do so. Then admitting it. Far worse than some team mate lapper getting in the way for a split second.

Obviously you are the dense one here. Stewart gave Reed plenty of room to go by on lap 7. Reed chose not to go around because there was no place to park Stewart in that section. It was a "planned" move therefore making it WORSE than Chisolms. Not to mention all the smack Reed has been talking about dirty riding this week. Then he goes out there and pulls that stunt.

It wasn't all that bad of a bump in my opinion, but it was dumb. If Reed had followed Stewart around for three laps obviously trying to find the perfect place to torpedo him, and then actually managed to knock him down and out of the race, the AMA would have DQed him anyway. Reed would have done better to go out and try to win the race and let the chips fall where they may.

Actually, I just watched the start again and Reed definitely hesitated a little and let Villo and Stewart out ahead of him. He looked like he actually tried to make sure Stewart was ahead of him. I think he only had one game plan, and that was to take Stewart out. Dumb, very dumb - if it worked, he'd get DQed and if it didn't, he wouldn't be in a position to capitalize if Stewart crashed on his own because he wouldn't be in a position to win the race.

Also dumb because he'll line up next to Stewart a lot more and Stewart can cut the bike out from under a guy in a hurry. Stewart will get even, you can bet on that.

Yeah if you watch the move from the other camera angle when the riders are coming towards the camera it shows how blatant that was. I just keep thinking what if James went off track and hit something, a pole or any of that shit out there in the back, Reeds a fucking coward. Why did he wait for back there, not in view of the crowd he was proably thinking, nevermind the 3 tv cameras back there!

Not only that, he drove right across the groove out into the marbles to hit James in the fastest corner in the track. It wasn't that hard of a hit, but it was a blatant effort to knock him down. The AMA and FIM wouldn't have had any choice but to DQ him if he'd been successful, so what's the point?

To be consistant with penalties and fines. No favorites, RC's gone.

No, what I meant was, what was Reed's point? The only outcome if he'd knocked Stewart down would be a DQ for Reed. The AMA and FIM wouldn't have had any choice about it.

Then Reed would be wearing the #1 plate again next year, but he didn't so he won't be wearing the #1 plate next year.

Just in from the AMA -

"No action whatsoever is found warranted in Reed's pass on James Stewart.

We do rule though, that todder and 336 are the definition of 'kotex cowboys' and should find another sport to do their whining."

The only one dense in this thread is you.

So you are not only a proven liar, you also have no clue.

Maybe you should call your uncle for some advice on racing and spelling.

Oh thats right you lied about that didn't you.

What a tool...Shocked

Blatant take out? Hardly...if you look at the video, Reed never changes his line.......JBS "Blatantly" squares the corner into him.....Not that it mattered either way

Here's a "Blatant" take out

I've been hit harder by my son on a YZ85 than Chisholm hit Reed, too. So what? The point is, if Reed had actually knocked Stewart down, he'd have been DQed and that'd be that.

Absolutely. If Reed followed Stewart around for 3 laps, with Stewart trail riding trying to get Reed to pass, and then Reed harpooned him and knocked him down, the AMA and FIM would have had a no-brainer decision. They'd have had no choice.

I think Reed would have had better chance if he would have just stayed right on Stewarts ass. Then he might have been able to force James into a mistake. Passing him didn't make any difference.

Of course Chad isn't going to do a harpoon takeout but what if Chad got into James' back wheel when trying to pass him on a tight corner and James went down? It could have easily been intentional but not blatant. What about a block pass with a brake check (something Carmichael used to do many times)?
