Alessi did a very cool thing tonight. Did you see him wave Reed by? Talk about cool, he did not want to be in the way, I actually respect him now.

I would think you would respect a young kid growing up and realizing whats wrong and right, but I guess not. When 800 first started I was not a fan, but seeing him grow up over the years has definitely made me a fan of his.

You lost respect for Alessi for not taking Stewart out?

I bet you never heard about the backlash that Mike has gotten from he desperate attempt to shut down Ivan Tedescos bike.

Even before this happened, Mike was trying to better his image. There was no question that he has always been dedicated and a racer (a pretty fucking good one at that.) No question.

He knows what happened waaaaaay back when was bad, you think he is going to make the same mistake twice?
Yet people announce publicly that they have lost respect for him?!?!

Real fans have done nothing but restore respect for Alessi ever since then. The hardcore ones never lost respect for him.

No matter what Mike does there will always be keyboard jockeys on here just waiting to pounce. More proof that you don't have to have any moto knowledge to post on here. You can almost predict the numbers that these clowns run on their bike if they have a bike. What do you think?

Boys, you must not have seen that MA800 got his take out count up. He and Short battled early on, but towards the end he made sure Shorty saw the ground after the finish line before the second whoops. From what I heard, the AMA was at Mike afterwards.
