My buddy is running the white coupler, and I saw/heard it backfire when he revved it to the limiter over a jump yesterday. First time I've seen the 19 KX450 do that.

Thanks guys! It looks sick on the bike.. I'll do some shots.

I have no idea, this is my first time.. But I did notice the color can scratch easily. Wish I could coat it with some sort of protection.

Is it your bike he is going to borrow? I’m a vet rider so my bike doesn’t ever get abused. I don’t rev it before landing. It would be hard to let a pro race it.

Yeah letting a legit pro race your vet owned bike, would be like letting Ron Jeremy have a turn with your ol lady.....not so sure the condition you’ll get it back and may not be something you want anymore. National caliber guys are so much harder on bikes than us normal guys.

Im planning on changing out my fork oil this week, any tips for someone who has never done this before? Just remove the top cap and put them upside down in a bucket? or is there more to it than that?

Is anyone running one of these in offroad/gncc type racing? How easy do they over heat? Anyone able to give me some pros and cons to them in this racing environment?

I’m currently riding a KTM 250XC two stroke. I was thinking of going to a new 350, but I’d really like to get away from another KTM. Everyone says these new KX450s have a free feeling engine, kind of two stroke-ish. My local dealer has a leftover ‘19, really considering it. My only worry is that it will be way too much motor for me! (Vet 30 B guy).

Easy switch from ktm to aluminium frame..
i don know how easy they over heat but for sure i can tell you that the engine breaking is very low, close to a 250f

Thats the first thing I noticed coming from my older gen yz450. letting off the throttle on that bike was like slamming on the brakes, really hurt the cornering. The new kx feels really free reving and easier to ride.
