Help me understand this phenomenon. It would be physically impossible for these women to be in a relationship 100% of the time, or at the very least highly unlikely, we'll be conservative and estimate a 5% Out of Relationship (OoR) relative period of singularity. Working from this premise, it would follow that there is in fact, some finite amount of time at which she is not currently in a relationship, since time is not zero. Now, this length of time could vary depending on many elements, but the fact remains that this period of time does exist, and it is theoretically possible that paths could cross within this finite period. However, the likely hood of such an event taking place is extremely low when you consider the rather conservative estimate, as well as the extremely low quantity available to begin with. Yet, the fact remains, in order for a new relationship to start, it would imply that some asshole has somehow achieved the nearly impossible and done just that, facilitated a path intersection during this damn near non-existant OoR period AND achieved a sufficient level of attraction to establish a connection.

Mind boggling stuff. Not really sure if I'm feeling any true rage, but my brain now hurts so maybe the rage will follow.
Post of the year, JM! Read it to my hottie wife, Harriet, and she had a good laugh with me.

Is that why he's on leave? I was wondering why because I don't recall seeing anything that warranted putting him on the bench.

This needs it's own thread.

When you're looking you won't find it. Women sence the desperation. Not saying you're desperate, but you're giving a vibe wether you realize it or not.

When you're in a relationship you're more confident and desirable. It's basically "she wants him so there must be something special about him".

My wife is hot, I am not. When we're out together, I get hit on all the time when they think she isn't looking.

Ask most married guys, they'll tell you the same.
Wedding ring = chick magnet.

That even kind of makes me rage a little. WTF? Where were you BEFORE I got married????

I am in "time out" for the same thread...… I also didn't think my comment warranted it - but the email i got from Guy said otherwise...… This is my old account that I'm using for now, but i think there were a lot of us "clipped" for the same thread....

I'm standing on one foot, leaning over my chemicals and tools because I still don't have the room in my garage to build a workbench after 4 years of living here (my in-laws' crap is being stored in 1/3 of my 3-car.) I have a ratchet and a ziplock bag full of parts in one hand, which is also steadying me against the wall. I'm trying to open a carboard box with my free hand, keep it open with my forearm, and open one of the drawers in the tool caddy inside. Except, the drawer can't open wide enough because my electric stapler is also inside the box. If I wiggle it, it might work... wait, no, I just knocked something off the wall and into the box as well, further jamming the area. Now I have to set down the ratchet and the parts so I can use both hands, but there's nowhere to put them. So I have to step back away from the tool caddy, back over my tools and chemicals, set down the ratchet and parts, go back to the caddy, realize I would still need to steady myself with one hand and therefore still can't open the box and get the thing I want, then realize I need to move the toolbox and chemicals. Except I need to move the MX Bike to do that, which means I have to move the RM85, PW50 and TT-R110. Except, there's no room to move those bikes because my worthless in-laws' crap is occupying the last available space in the garage.
RAAAAAAAAAGE!

Ok wait wait wait, let me get this straight. . .

In order to facilitate a connection, you must facilitate another connection prior to the connection you are trying to facilitate in order to facilitate the facilitation of the desired connection? Would it not then follow that in order to facilitate the prior connnection, you would paradoxically need to facilitate yet another prior connection? This is fucked bros, what the hell kind of bass acwards disaster of a human instinct is causing this bullshit?

All good though I have a plan, I’ll just convince one of my chick friends to pretend we’re dating and then boom, that should be the ticket right there, instant success. Either that or I’ll just throw some Starbucks stickers on my van and call it a day.

Don’t pretend you’re dating, then you have to explain an imaginary breakup. Pretend you’re “talking.” Single, so technically available, yet someone has an interest in you, thus making you interesting. At that point it’s game on. Women are catty and competitive as hell, and even if she wouldn’t normally be interested in you, it’s now a competition in which she’ll make every effort possible to “win” you. It’s a fucked up mindset they have. Just know that if you land this chick, she’s gonna hate your friend and always see her as a potential threat. haha

I hate disease, hunger and poverty that destroys little kids.

I hate crazy traffic.

I hate when folks throw crap in the bed of their truck which blows out and causes chaos and mayhem on the highways.

I have a very short commute but I'm from MA and I'm Italian so road rage is built into my DNA. I fuckin hate Uber and Lyft drivers. They pull out in front of me and idle down the road while never using signals and no clue where they are going.

Secondly, how is the driver of the car in front of me/next to me always smoking when I have my windows down.
FUCK those people Smile

I was riding my Kawasaki Concours during lunch hour on a busy street in the center lane, the pick up in front of me had a mattress and box spring in the back, as traffic is coming up to intersection the light turns red and we all start to slow down wind picks up and blows the box spring out of the pickup and land right in front of me I'm on the brakes hard but I am not going to stop in time, can't go into either left or right lanes because of traffic,I then decide to try to ride up on it and hopefully stop.My front wheel is on top of the box spring and the truck in front is now really braking hard.I hit the front brake and the box spring start to slide forward and under the truck as it comes to a complete stop.I also come to a stop with my front wheel about an inch from the rear bumper of the truck. Now I am struggling to not let the bike fall over as I can get my feet planted very firmly on the ground with the extra height of the bike being on the box spring. I finally get it back to a balance point but not before tweaking my back.
Now the truck driver gets out and is mad at me for riding onto his box spring and asking why I just didn't go around it,I explain in not so polite words that he is lucky I didn't plow into his truck and hurt or kill myself for his negligence of not securing his cargo.
Luckily a cop saw the whole thing and helped my get the bike backed off the box spring and away I went tweaked back and all.As I left the cop was talking with the truck driver. hope he got a ticket.

Damn that really sucks.

About 8 years ago I saw this driving through the ghetto. The picture is not good but you can just barely see the orange extension cord they used through the windows to tie these down. Gotta hand it to them at least they thought about it.

The classic move is for driver and passenger each holding onto the mattress.

Yeah, that'll help.

I’m a road cyclist who obeys traffic signals and rides very close to the edge of the road. I don’t like getting hit in the back with empty Copenhagen cans and hearing “get off the road you ****ing ***got.

I don’t like people killing snakes. I live on a coastal salt marsh where there are lots of rats and mice. Snakes don’t carry human communicable diseases and they eat rats that do transfer diseases to humans. Rats and mice are also very destructive to any building they inhabit while snakes are not.
I’m with you on the cycling thing.

There is a canyon road nearby not "recommended" for cyclist, but there are also "share the road" signs.
A couple of friends and I were on that road once. Going west is very fast, so we were able to go at, or over the speed limit. All of the cars that passed had no problem giving room and getting around us. Until one jackass decided to get beside us and yell how bikes aren't allowed on the road. Funny the guy lecturing on safety was the only one who put our lives in danger.
So he drives ahead and pulls into a turnoff to yell some more. What he didn't see was our much faster friend who was there waiting for us. Now this angry guy is faced with 3 guys, none of us really to be messed with. He quickly changed his mind and got back into his 90s Pontiac complete with donut tire, and drove off. Of course he yelled more and gave us the finger as he drove off.

When I am turning across traffic and I pull into median waiting for cars to clear so I can finish my turn, and some asshole follows me and goes to the outside of me in the median completely blocking my view. I don't mind if you come out to the median with me but for goodness sake have the decency to stay a half car length behind me so I can actually see the oncoming traffic so I can make my turn. Even more insane when you pull to my inside and I'm now blocking oncoming traffic for you. Ugh.

Ok so... single file is incorrect. You are not supposed to ride in a group in single file, it’s actually worse for the motorist than riding two up (two side by side) which is the correct way. This is because a group single file takes longer to overtake in a car and also cars treat two up groups as a collective unit, the same as a car they might be passing so will pass the whole group in one go when it is safe. Single file they tend to pass some, then run out of time and pull in between the cyclists which is dangerous for both.

However that group in the photo is not riding two up. They are a mess

Joggers who run with traffic. Bicycles who ride against traffic. Both are hella dangerous.

Rules of the road:

Joggers run against traffic.
Bicycles go with traffic.

Might just save your life.

When a dude pulls out in front of me in an M3 or other seriously fast car, then proceeds to leisurely accelerate up to 39 MPH in a 50 MPH zone. Extra rage points if he made an aggressive jump into my lane because he knew he could barely make it in time. I'm OK with aggressive moves; just make it happen and get on the gas, already!!!
