Pretty funny rant by Steve, on last weeks show #389, at 3:26:35 on callers question how to adjust the PV on a YZ250.

Very surprising no one on the show knew about pv adjustment... ktm has had it for at least twelve years and I adjust mine occasionally depending on soil type. For instance, on a slick dusty track with little traction I like the pv to open later rather than sooner.

In fact, didn’t Kelly Smith’s Mathis tuned race winning ktm 125sx have an adjustable pv?

Suzuki did it for a long time. He was referencing that the Yamaha doesn’t have it factory.

Oh shit, when is the ESR325 guy gonna show up😂 The YZ does not have an adjustable PV. I changed my PV power delivery using a different Spring from Harris Performance.

The yz250 power valve is adjustable with different spring and shims on the power valve governor. It's just not externally adjustable you have to remove the clutch cover to do so.

Just like you can do the same thing to the yz125 and now the yz85 n 65 if you wanted.

The sad part is ive tried to get in contact with Steve several times on behalf of ESR to sponsor the show/get a big bore on his straight rhythm bike. Never got any sort of response. So we will be moving onto other media outlets if he doesn't want his money.
