Hes gotta back it down a tad to stay healthy. Eli had to do it a couple years back. Jeff is so fun to watch i been waiting all year to watch and it was very short lived. He will never come here for Nationals because the other part of that equation is SX and he isnt made for that.

Wow that is a very busy 10 years. It looks like he could have won 8 titles but got 4. The broken femur on an 80 really stands out as an unnecessary bummer. Without that one he would have 5 titles and things don't look so heartbreaking.
How tall is he? He really flops around a lot more than say RC of JS when they yard sale. I think it does help to be short and compact.
If he races until 30, 6 more years, I guess we might expect 3 more titles. He will expect 6, which is probably part of the problem.

It is a long and very interesting list, but pretty normal for someone riding like 400 hours per year, as he rides 3 to 5 times a week, and has 30 races on the calendar. He rode or raced probably more than 3000 hours since his pro debut.

That is why I am not shocked at all, most riders have the same list, it is just that because it is Herlings and he is expected to win then people starts to think he is more injury prone.

And just as a comparison, one of my former teachers had 45 broken bones/20 concussions in about 10 years of pro racing. It is just unfortunately part of the sport...
Pretty normal? Mc is laughing I think....

Being the fastest has consequences... just ask James Stewart.

Why are people “liking” a post about a rider being injured a lot.

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t like seeing any rider get injured. Ever. Whether I dislike them for a legitimate reason or because they beat my favorite pro rider.

I liked the research the OP did not that he gets injured.
