Keep the entry cost low for the average joe, but offer a performance version for competitors similar to the FE Ktm and Works Honda
I for one think it’s awesome they are offering these kits but I would still want to see what I’m getting for my money before buying one.
I’m in the market for a new bike and have to admit I love how the Suzuki’s look and am tempted to buy one.
I did notice that too. It's kinda strange.
You buy your new Suzuki and a new JGR head kit. You remove the stock head and piston and store in a sealed container, fit JGR stuff, race all year with adequate top end maintenance, finish season, remove JGR head and piston and refit the standard head and piston which you had all the time in a sealed container. Only parts required are gaskets piston circlip. Sell bike.
Then you buy your new Suzuki, freshen up JGR head if required, remove stock and replace with JGR because the bike hasn't changed.
Not too hard to understand I thought. Bit like having to buy CV and Trax suspension for your KTM, removing and putting on next year bike if it still fits.
Over 300 bikes there and I couldn’t find anybody...ended up bringing them home. Next race I did find a guy with a 14.
