Blue Kawasaki KX 250 ?

I'd kinda like to see someone do a modern throwback to the 90's green and blue/purple Kawis. My first bike was a 92 w/ metalic purple frame and anodized blue forks. I used to think that thing was a rocket ship, but now it just seems slow.

Just a few times... Laughing My Dad, brother, and Steven H. were out there last weekend I guess and said it was great. I was stuck here on call for work so i couldn't go. Angry

Picture quality isn't the best but you get the idea.


That is definetly a 92 it had a diff engine than the 93 altough yours has a 93 seat and graphics, they were green from factory,
the 89 model kx came with blue side plates the 96 with purplish shrouds and fork guards. If you ever come across blue plastics for this model please let me know im trying to find them. Have had absolutly no luck.

Looks great!
1992 Kawasaki's Came with the stripes like that and they ran onto the seat Cover
I was a teenager and 1992 was a year of amazing looking bikes they all looked so good that year
Kawasaki had that new model
Honda had the Glow Red
Yamaha's where redesigned and had the white and Magenta
And Suzuki's had the crazy purple leapord seat and wild graphics.
It was a tough year to choose a new bike imo
I liked them all
If i had it to do over i would Choose Honda though
They were faster than the rest that year it seemed

From memory the 92 had a slightly different tank/shroud to the picture.
Graphics and shrouds/seat are definitely 93

Some MFG's are worse than others at this... The '79 KX125 was a decent motor, then the '80 came out with Unitrak and a turd for a motor. Kawi might have been the worst at this back in the day...
