Sorry but if you think that the the GP winning Tom is getting 25th bc that’s just how slow the GP riders are you are just ignorant. It’s certainly a mystery what is going on, but he’s not a 25th place guy. More often than not he had Lawrence handled in GP’s. Also if you remember last season, he started very slow after coming in with injury and eventually was winning motos. Hopefully we see something similar here because it’s not fair to think that this is all he has to offer to his team and to the fans.

Agree. Something is up. Anyone that discredits the GP’s anymore based on so and so finishing there vs here is just stirring the pot.

I hope TC figures this out soon and starts riding like we’ve seen him. He doesn’t even look like the same guy on the track at all. He should be top 10 on a bad day.

Not to start another GP vs US debate, but let's be honest. GP riders are superior to our guys when it comes to motocross. Roger said it, Seely said it. Something is up with Tom, his results do not reflect the depth and talent of the GP guys.

Covington is obviously better than what he’s been. I don’t know what the issue is but you don’t just go from winning GP’s to not scoring any points here. I never expected him to just win right off the bat but he’s got the speed and talent to run inside the top 10 for sure.

I think folks base way too much on what happened at Red Bud, I think the US riders are better than that performance. I also think Covington is alot better than what he showed today. We were at the race, and watched him quite a bit because we were so surprised at pedestrian he looked out there. It was actually pretty shocking how far off the pace he was, how uncomfortable he looked on the bike, etc. He just had no zip anywhere on the track.

Literally, not even being a dick, but hes the worst factory sx rider Ive ever seen before, and Ive been watching since 1989. Now in mx where hes supposed to shine hes riding around in 20th? What the hell.... What a flop. Makes no sense cuz he used to be AC’s peer in amateurs then did good in gp’s. Hes getting his friggin doors blown off.

CLearly Thomas is dealing with something. He won some races in MX2 and was always running with the top guys. I was hoping for some better results myself but something is going on.
